If you're not into luxurious claptrap, but enjoy a quiet wooded yet functional place that is 10 minutes walk from the city centre, 3 minutes from the departing ferries to the archipelago and the best view on the old own, this reclaimed 18th century military base is the place for you. Breakfast can be bought separately on site, and we enjoyed it every day. You can have your own food and use of kitchen (microwave and toaster, but no cooking hub tho) any time. Laundry, café and pool tables. They also have a large boat, but it wasn't available for guests (under refurbishment) during our stay.

I love that they have a huge storage area where you can put all your things before checkin and after checkout. The location is the best!

The outlet next to my bed and the lamp weren’t working, but I managed to get a power cord from the reception desk to use another outlet

Great location. Fantastic view. Nice staff. Good beds in superior rooms. For a hostel, this is a very high standard. Breakfast is ok - but don’t expect a lavish buffet.

Perfect location in Stockholm. Everything within walking distance. Directly in the center but still quiet and cozy. Beautiful traditional sailing ship right outside the door. Huge plus point for me :)

The only thing is that there is no supermarket nearby, but you can buy certain things from the reception (etc. shampoo)

Everything was excellent, really. The whole property is clean and tidy, the staff welcoming and kind. I have never seen such clean shared bathrooms and toilets, they were not dirty even once during my 3 days stay. The rooms are warm with comfortable beds and a good internet connection.

Not sure about the quality of breakfast. Also, the answer from the lady about where to park was not very helpfull, on the verge of politenes.

Hostel with very central, but quiet location, with nice view overlooking Gamla Stan and Sodder Malm. Parking is provided, along with rental bikes. There is small cute coffe shop also. The boy working on the reception was very kind.

Nice views of gamla stan. Nice relaxing water front walk, they serve breakfast and they also have a little coffee shop/cafe on location. Late nights snacks we used uber eats for delivery.

I didn't like that there where no evening activities and atmosphere. It's like everyone pretty much to themselves.

Really liked the Location and the service of the staff was very helpful. The view from the hostel was great directly to the river and the ships. It was cool that they have a cafe to chill after a long day. Very Clean

This youth hostel is perfect for young and serious travellers.The view from the bedroom was amazing. Everything is quiet and clean. The staff is available at any time.

Sometimes a bit nosy when your room is next to the room of a bunch of teenagers.

Good place to stay before going out to the archipelago from Strömkajen. Also close to the station and the city center. Very friendly staff, and cosy little cafe.

I would have loved a bit more comfy, harder beds, maybe more variety in the breakfast. Would have loved maybe some fish, maybe kanelbullar.

We stayed not on the boat, but in the house. Loved the varied options. We got a family room that was not luxurious but modern and private, with USB chargers, beautiful view, good wifi. Showers and toilets were outside the room but clean. We lover the pool table, and the possibility to rent bikes. We even took part in the STHLM BIKE race with the bikes. Breakfast buffet was decent with good choice also for veggies and vegans. And they have a kitchen for guests! Loved the deckchairs facing the old town and the water front. So beautiful.

Very good access to every part of the city and amazing view from our room. We had a room large enough for three with two big windows. No facilities around (supermarkets, restaurants or bars) but it is the price to pay for the silence in and outside the building. Kitchen easy to use, a little busy at meals time.
