Hostel in a great location, nice clean room with a view at Gamla Stan. Friendly staff, well equipped kitchen, restaurant/caffe' on site. We used the luggage deposit which was very convinient.

One of my favourite hostels. Located on a tiny little island (accessible by bridge) right in the middle of the Stockholm harbour, opposite the gorgeous gamla stan, you couldn't ask for a more beautiful setting! The dormitory is surprisingly comfortable and spacious given the number of people it sleeps, and the communal lounge and kitchen both offer all you would expect. Staff are lovely too.

After an unexpected flight cancellation and other related issues I spent several nights at this hostel at the last minute. This is the nicest hostel I have ever stayed in. The staff have been exceptional, making me feel very welcome and at home, they have offered travel advice and been supportive in many ways whilst I waited for my delayed luggage. I occupied a range of rooms dormitory and private depending on availability and all were exceptional. The location is perfect being so close to the Centre and old Centre and the ferries and many museums but also quiet and relaxing on a little connected island. Having a cafe available was also very welcome and the breakfast was excellent. I am a middle aged woman so older than most but not all staying but I felt perfectly at home. Thank you C&S.

The location couldn't be better. It's a really modern hostel with everything you need in there. Simply perfect. Bathroom in the room would have been super, but nothing to complain about.

No electricity outlet beside the beds. Only one usb outlet. No enough storage units in the room.

- Location is exceptional. The view is fantastic. - Towels are included in the booking. - Yhe kitchen is well-equipped for people who have their own food and/or would like to cook. - There is a fridge to keep your food cold and fresh (No such fridge or kitchen in Generator hostel for example).

Nothing I didn't like! The only thing to note is that at the upper level, there are 2 showers, 1 single toilet room, and 2 bathrooms with toilet + sink so I would be visiting different rooms for different needs. I sometimes went to the bathroom on other floors if the others were occupied. Those also seemed more spacious (not in attic space) so it wasn't an issue going around!

Fabulous location -- on a small quiet island in the middle of Stockholm. Gamla Stan and other popular islands were really easy to get to and I walked everywhere! From far away, you could even spot af Chapman due to the white boat in front of it. Everything is secure -- I was in the 16-person attic and my nightstand also acted as a locker. I also stored my bags before check-in and after check-out without any issues. At check-in, I received fresh linens and a fluffy towel. Bed was comfy! This place is eco-friendly so the shower runs for maybe 30 seconds before you hit the button again, but water pressure and temperature all fine. Very clean rooms. There was a kitchen which I didn't use. Good tap water. Friendly staff. Nice cafe downstairs -- good for "fika" and enjoying the sun. I never had breakfast there but I did have some pancakes with lignon berries when I first arrived around noon before check-in and that was great. Check-out was an easy process -- just turning in the key card.

The locker by my bed was broken on one of my visits, and the toilets sometimes are a little wet.

I know Swedish are known as introverted and looking serious, but I really want to suggest the lady who helped upgrade room that please be more cheerful, I believe it will do good to both her and hotel guests in the future. By the way, there is no grocery store nor supermarket within this island.

Good price, helpful staff, and gorgeous scene - especially the sailing vessel. The hotel-building has existed for a rather long time, and the place in which the hostel stores luggage is somehow a cave, that's so cool! The receptionist helped me upgrade the room from 16-bed room to 6-bed room, she's helpful indeed.
