How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The bathroom is extraordinary small. The toilet was almost within the shower. Please BAN shower curtains forgood. They do not work ever.

The pillows were incredibly hard and the room was fairly noisy due do the ventilation which were not possible to control. It was especially the ventilation from the bathroom that was noisy, but it was not possible to turn it off. It was also fairly cold in the room, but the duvet was nice and warm.
The hotel was nice and clean, breakfast was satisfactory and the staff were nice and friendly. The hotel is situated right next to Høtorget metro station, so very easy to get anywhere in the city.

The heating was broken in our room which we suspect the hotel knew about. First night was very, very cold but we got offered either a room change or a portable heater. We took the heater and then it was all good! Breakfast buffet is a bit of a mess and a bit inconsistent. Some of the things they serve are absolutely delicious and others, not so much. . Rooms were a bit pricy for the size and what they offer but we still did enjoy our stay very much and would be happy to come back!
Staff is super nice, friendly and helpful! Very clean and fresh rooms. Bathrooms are new and the rooms are pretty sound proof. Location couldn’t be any better. You are super close to City and the metro station is literally around the corner.

The room we had was very small and the hotel a little hard to locate when we first arrived as the hotel sighnage was not prominent. The front desk girls are very nice but probably need to know a little more about the tourist attractions and eateries in the area to be a bit more helpful with directions. The breakfast dining room is small and at busy times hard to get a table so there might be a wait.
Lots of shops and restaurants near by plus a fantastic food hall for meals a short walk away. At the end of the lane way on the main street was a metro station one stop from central and walkable distance down to the water for ferries. Location was excellent as we do not use Ubers or taxis. A good breakfast and kettle supplied in the room, which is a plus for us. and it was very quiet at night.

The only thing was that the bathroom area was really small and the area for shower was actually if front of the toilet and while you have shower all the bathroom area is full of water ! Also they don’t provide hotel slippers which can be useful
The deluxe room is comfortable and the hotel it’s close to the centre and metro for anyone who need it ! Clean and nice rooms according to the price ! Without noise during night

Bathroom very small but had everything we needed.
Helpful, friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Location was perfect only 1 stop on the subway to the main Central station.

My stay was very good: staff was friendly and helpful and the room was comfy and clean. Breakfast was nice, I would have liked a bit more dairy free/vegan options but other than that I was happy with the options to choose from.

There were tiny windows in an unreachable place. It is not recommended for claustophobic people.
The location of the hotel was convenient: really close to the central station and the old city.

Sometimes it was kinda too warm in the room (but it has a window so you can air the room out)
Easily accessible and quiet place (close to the city center) with helpful staff and good breakfast. Our room was clean and had comfy beds.

The beds are very soft. The room could use an extra chair/chair and maybe a larger table in the room.
Very good location of the hotel. Clean in the facility and in the room. Breakfast very good and sufficient. The bathroom is clean, it is good that there is a kettle in the room.

My partner thought the room feels cold and chilly, but I on the other hand had no problem. A heater is provided.
Very central location. Building with an elevator. Great breakfast buffet despite reviews.

A small room in a small hotel in the middle of expensive city. One doesn't go there for comfort but for reasonable price. Stuff is doing great job, though.
