How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Well, was unbelievable situation, I enter my room was the pillow and the mattress and blanket without covered, next day when I was taking shower also I didn't find any towel or dry myself

The place and the location was great. The room was tiny but you have everything you need for a short time stay. The breakfast was excellent. The staff was kind and very helpful. Will surely recommend it to everyone coming to stay for a few nights

It was cold in the room and the TV initially did not work. We asked for help at the reception and the TV was fixed, however they said that they cannot do anything about the room temperature, this is the reason why I left this review. Advice for higher management, for future, please take into consideration the room temperature to avoid bad ratings.
It is near the city centre.

Small, cold room. Uncomfortable beds. No where to unpack your cases. Very small inadequate hanging space, no shelving. Constant cold air con which can not be adjusted. Lay out of room very badly designed compared to other hotels of the same room size.

Location is very good. You can walk from a City Center train station to the hotel. Staff is super friendly. ⭐️

Great customer servis, Joele was so helpful, recommend good cafe and restaurant near hotel, also it wasn’t a problem to leave baggage before or after check in/out. Good location, to every popular attraction you can walk to. Room was clean and has all nesesery stuff. Recommend this place :)

Booking confirmation contained a sophisticated scam and fraud attempt. I cannot tell if this was related to Booking or to the hotel or to neither. I had to cancel my credit card and block my bank account. The single room I was offered on arrival was a windowless, airless cell, though clean. I felt I could not stay /survive the night there so I paid a considerable supplement for a better room upstairs.
The room I finally ended up paying extra for was small, but pleasant, spotless and in perfect condition. Adequate breakfast. Good location.

We arrived at the hotel and we’re given a room that was about 8 ft x8 ft. The bathroom/shower was so small that it would be impossible to shower without spraying the loo. The window in the bedroom was boarded up and sealed with tape.We had to pay an extra 30 euro per night to upgrade. The manager said that I had booked a standard room through your app, but on your site only superior bedrooms were shown. This was a complete misrepresentation of the rooms available and I believe it is a ploy used be the hotel to extract extra monies from customers booking through your app. This type of scam is not good for the reputation of Booking.com business and I suggest you investigate and remove this hotel from using your platform. The room was very small with little space for movement and not much by way of surfaces for orderly arrangement of my stuff

The breakfast was very poor. I really recommend to buy a stay without breakast and then go to Urban Deli next door and have breakfast. It would be a good idea for the hotel to give breakfast vouchers to a good breakfast restaurant nearby. The hotel itself was very nice and clean.
It is difficult to rate my one night stay as the hotel itself was super fine, but the breakfast was very poor. I really recommend to buy a stay without breakast and then go to Urban Deli next door and have breakfast.
