as a Radisson chain of hotels I was honestly disappointed, the location was without any view. Radisson’s are always luxurious, but I really didn’t like it this time. I have been to many Radisson’s hotels before but it’s out of my expectations.

My check-in experience was terrible. First we booked a premium room described with 42sqm and i received a normal and smaller room. I came downstairs to say it was a mistake and the reception tried to convince me it was the same size and just different layout (the room was almost half size of the booked room. They robed me 2h of stay until i say I have a plenty clue of size and that I am not stupid. We booked a special room, which is not cheap, our friends booked the same room and they got the correct one, so unnecessary discussion, unnecessary threat me like stupid because they have committed an error. I felt extremely discriminated by the staff in the reception when they tried to say this is just a different layout.

Charmless reception staff that lie to you with insincere smiles. Intermittent drilling between 09:00 and 17:00 each day. When staff were questioned about the noise, they initially denied any knowledge of it (despite construction workers openly walking around the hotel). They even had the bareface cheek to lie that the noise was coming from the building next door. When later confronted they stated "until 5 O'clock the workmen are allowed to do their work". We changed room 4 times due to the drilling noise and no bath. Bath plug was faulty in the last room but was replaced fairly quick. Low water pressure. Bath mixer thermostat valve faulty. Bad sewage smell on the 3rd floor. Soap dispensers had badly angled pump nozzles that violently squirted the content forward instead down, hitting my girlfriends hair and messing it up.

Big rooms. Window that opens. Comfortable beds. Chrome cast on Large TV. Fridge in room. Good lighting. Nice complimentary toiletries. Ping pong table.

First the lady that checks you in has a very bad attitude and is very rude, now the room was disgusting it was roached infested whoever is supposed to clean there doesn’t care they step on the roaches and leaves them there it was very dirty I wish I could upload the pictures I took and the videos, I couldn’t even sleep there I called the front desk and told them the lady said if you don’t like it leave I said yea I will just give me my money back she laughed and hung up I’ll never come back here again!!

The room looked a bit old and that it needs restoration to look as good as used to. The wallpaper was peeled of on some place in the room and it looked a bit run down, also it has a strange old carpet scent. Either the other people where really loud or it was not really good soundproofed.

The people working there where super helpful and kind. The hotel was real close to the centre and is a good starting point for exploring the city.

The big paintings of spiders in the rooms on the ceiling were very scary. Also there was a strong smell of what I can only describe as depressed chimpanzee in the room. Do not recommend.

Construction work at the hotel on the floor above our room. Access cards continuously stopped working and we had to get new ones from the reception.

Shower was faulty and was not repaired when requested. No maintenance service after 4pm Choice for dinner in restaurant was limited on the day I visited. No starters or desserts and only some mains (classic menu)

What a great place to stay after a long journey by train and ferry. Fantastic staff, amazing big room, really comfy bed and a full size bath. We were offered a deal on breakfast which was very good. We had a great time at the hotel and would definitely stay there again.

the decor in the rooms is tired. The hotel is very geared up for conferences less so for holiday tourists
