Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SpainHonestly, we were underwhelmed by this boat stay. We stayed in the captain’s room which looks awesome in the pictures, but in fact, it is small. The ceiling was almost the same height as me. The shower was very small, and the radiator didn’t really heat up the whole room, so it got cold overnight. Not exactly a cheap stay for what you get in return. I think there are better deals for the same price.
Location was great, a few minutes’ walk to Gamla Stan and Södermalm. Room was cosy and the mattress was really comfortable which we appreciated after a long day walking around nonstop. Breakfast is great value for money too.

As if the novelty of staying on a floating hostel wasn't enough, this one is bang in the centre of Stockholm, walking distance from beautiful Gamla Stan and close to a metro station for easy access to the whole city. The staff were friendly an helpful, the rooms clean, cosy and warm and we were able to leave luggage in the locker provided. Can't fault it! (The Hostel boat also has a huge kitchen, clean showers and the option of breakfast/dinner on the big boat). Highly recommend!

PolandThe photos on Booking doesn't reflect the real state. The room was very tiny without a table, dark without access to daylight. It was impossible to open the window and we suffocated during the night, it was very hot. Due to lack of air conditionning we have asked for different room. The receptionist told us that there is no room available and gave as a portable old air conditionner. It just helped a little bit and was enough to survive 2 nights. We were very happy to leave this hotel. For sure it was our first and last stay on this boat.
The hotel is close to the city center and to the main attractions.

I loved the location and it was an unique place to stay in. The staff was nice, the communication with them went smoothly and cleaning was done everyday. I had an awesome stay there. I consider it far better to choose this option instead of a conventional hotel. The metro was near and was on a walking distance to the city centre, and honestly, I had the best view to wake up and go to bed with!!! The best choice!

Honestly a real let down. The quality of the room was horrendous and damp. Water damage from window, black mould, incredibly stuffy, all round uncomfortable.

SwedenThe size of the cabin, it was way too small. It seems like via booking you get the lease favourite ones. When checking out we got to see there were much bigger cabins with private bedrooms. Sweden is not known for good service in hospitality or restaurants. They need to get qualified staff for this area. .
