The hotel is in an old school that has been made into a nice country-side hotel. If you are a guest there you can get food and drinks in their small bar in the old gym. The service is great. They really try to do their best! We had some minor struggle with charging our car, but after some great instructions we got it to charge. In the morning the breakfast include all the standard things you want when staying in a hotel.

The room we selected was quite small and also the beds. But I think you can select larger rooms if you want to pay more but this was enough for our budget

Very nice located close to the lake where we could swim. Dinner food and breakfast very good. Reasonable price for food and drinks. The staff nice and helpful. I can absolutely recommed it if you not demand a more luxury hotel standard.

Needs some maintainence. Have cobwebs everywhere and need to be little bit refurbished although once you are inside the building.. it’s amazing and very well furnished.

It was a perfect stay! Nothing to complain at all. Location was a 10/10, directly by the lake with lots of benches to sit there. The house is big and so well equipped. You can find everything you need there. A modern shared kitchen, a gym, a sauna, TV room, even a bathtub in a shared bathroom. The host was really friendly and funny. Comfy and clean rooms and delicious breakfast. Couldn’t ask for anything more, would highly recommend and come back any time.

Room was clean but dusty. Everything can use some maintenance. Seemed like beds where made some time ago. Bathroom wasnt so clean. Old and paint cracks everywhere. The rainbow flag was all around. Why....?

It has an informal, charming atmosphere, located right on a beautiful lake. It offers a casual restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining, swimming off a dock and much more. The hotel rooms are small but perfectly adequate, with comfortable beds and large bathrooms. A former school, it is decorated with educational charts and pictures showing wildlife, plant morphology, etc., so staying there is also educational.

Rare type of a place: former school converted to a simple guesthouse. Essentials are great: mattress, warm water, bed linen, towels, calm place to sleep, home cooked breakfast, coffee machine. Bonus things are: free sauna, massage chair and orange juicer(!!!)

Booked a night away with a friend and her three kids, just for a change of venue. It exceeded every expectation. The owner and manager is super service minded and friendly, the facilities are great and the beds comfortable. The surroundings are like being in a fairy tale, and the small surrounding community very friendly. I’ve been to many high class hotels and I would still recommend this above all others. DO NOT MISS THIS GEM OF A PLACE!

Peaceful location with welcoming staff. The place wasn’t the usual nondescript building. It has character and is unique. Bed was super comfy and great breakfast. EV charger on site with help to use it.

The location was remote but that adds to the peaceful serene atmosphere. The long and winding roads to reach Trehörna is through tall pines and plentiful deciduous trees.

The breakfast was excellent. The serving hours were 8-10. The staff was attentive. The hot food was hot and the cold food was cold. There was gluten-free bread and crackers, milk free butter, a nice selection of cheese, Turkey & salami slices. Available seating inside and outside was perfect. There were several selections for a tasty evening meal, available upon request. Accommodations for a self-serve kitchen were complete with clear instructions for use, in Swedish & in English. The host Peter & staff were friendly & made everyone feel at home. A 40 meter walk to a Sandy beach lake was perfect for two of the 5 days with temps reaching 35°C, near 100°F, which is unusual for Sweden.
