Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

ItalyThis is not a clean place, inside the security lock (under the beds) there were cockroaches. When I told at the Indian lady about this, she acted like she didn't knew. And when I told her I didn't want to put my luggage inside the locker because of that, she continued to ask me the cash deposit for the key locker, until I gave the Key back to her telling that I was not using the key and neither the locker. Toilet and shower are not nice. There was not any soap to wash your hands in the bathroom and at one point the toilet paper finished and there was nothing to replace it. When I asked for a towel, at the check in, the nice lady on the front desk ( the only positive thing I listed) was not nice anymore, asking to me : you want to take a shower right now?!!! When I answered yes, she rolled her eyes. If I check in at 15.00 the least you can do is to make people find a fresh towel over the bed. That was not what I was expecting. I hope you can better yourself.

Hong KongI would say the only thing that was a pity was there was a lot of (small) cockroaches that would occasionally come out on the dorm's floor, but the staffs are diligently in spraying "Raid" and the Raid spray is also in the dorm's toilet if anyone needs an "emergency spray"
Friendly and helpful staff, lots of eateries nearby, shower was nice and hot and loved the light and 2 power outlets inside the beds.

GermanyWe had to leave a deposit for the key. When we tried to check out we have waited for a very long time but no one showed up, so we left without getting our deposit back. I tried to get my money back but for now no one is responding anymore. This is bad vibes guys!!
