Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

PakistanThere was an initial mix-up regarding room requirements. Despite requesting a single queen/king sized bed, I was sent to a room with twin beds. However, the staff was cooperative and were quick to change the room to accommodate my request. Also, there was a S$ 50 refundable security fee that the hotel took from me when I checked in. However, this was not communicated to me beforehand. Also, at the time of checking out, I was told that this amount (if not spent) would be transferred back into my account in two weeks which, even if alright in principle, did feel inconvenient to me as it meant that, upon check-out, I would not be returned the security fee on the spot. The room's safe was also not working upon check-in and had to be fixed. Also, at lower fan speeds, the air-conditioning started constantly making an irritating whirring noise which meant that we had to keep the fan speed either at medium or high. The hotel breakfast buffet was also average and could certainly be improved.
The location was undoubtedly great. There was a bus stand right next to the hotel that enabled me to move around the city. The hotel room was also a decent size. It was clean and the toiletries were decent as well. The staff of the hotel was certainly quite cooperative.

GermanyWe found a few long black hair on the linen and in the bathroom - no tragedy, but as a guest you don't want that. The breakfast offered a huge variety of food, but unfortunately every day the same (only thing that changed was the egg - scrambled, sunny side up etc.).
It's a 16 storey building - our room was in storey 13, so the view from our window was OK. The room has everything you need for a city trip. Enough power plugs to get all your electronic stuff loaded. AC was working good. The bathroom was OK, functional and big enough for a proper use. The queensize bed was pretty soft, but ok for sleeping after an exhausting day out in the city. The breakfast in the morning had a big variety of different food styles and was given as a buffet. The location is BRILLIANT! 100m from MRT Bras Besah and 120m from the next busstop! Around 5 min. to walk to the famous Raffels Hotel and the Long Bar. Around 15 Minutes by MRT to Marina Bay Sands (if all transfers work - Transfer necessary at Promenade - yellow line (circle line). You cannot live more central but quiet at the same time!

SwitzerlandThe rooms are a bit old looking and dark. We had two rooms and one of them had a bit of a smelly bathroom.
The location of this hotel is great - between 2 MRT stops and within a reasonable walking distances of a few sites. The staff was very helpful - we had to store luggage between our two stays at the hotel and they did this for us without a problem. The WIFI worked well and the breakfast buffet had a mix of Western and Asian food. Bathrooms well equipped with a hairdryer and toiletry items. We were easily able to get connecting rooms for our family.

AustraliaTake care with refund policy. It is not what it seems. Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to cancel one night of our booking. We did this within time limit and even received an email from the hotel acknowledging that we would be charged for 2 nights only. Instead of refunding the night they spread the cost over the remaining nights so we received no refund.
Breakfast was satisfactory. The room and the location were good.
