Not the best hostel I have stayed in. There were ants all over the tables in the room, and you could feel the springs in the mattress.

The room looked out over to a sporting area so was a bit loud if you wanted to go to bed early, didn’t bother us too much though.

The beds were comfy, kitchen was stocked, the area seemed safe and walking distance to the bus station. Bathrooms were lovely. Loved the storage area in our room, lots of space.

Comfortable beds, big enough rooms, clean bathrooms. Great value. Staff was exceptional, Amadea and Sebastian were very nice and helpful.

We arived in the morning and were welcomed by Sebastian, he is really friendly and helpful. We could store our luggage because the check in was not until two. The whole building is really grand and the rooms and everything is bright because of the big old windows which are very beautiful. We stayed four nights and everything was clean. The atmosphere in the building is very pleasant. And we learned about the interesting history of the building by Amadea. She also helped us with other questions about the history of Slovenia and tips what to do. The hospitality was great and Sebastian and Amadea made us feel at home. Thank you guys a lot for everything!

Our room was not cleaned when we arrived, had to find out ourselves after picking up the keys. Took an additional 30-40 minutes to get it cleaned while we had to wait outside

don’t know what happened but when I booked it showed me a price of around €25 for one night but when I checked the next day I was booked for €53 for one night. I was unlucky to challenge this as I couldn’t take the screenshot of the first price. it was the strangest thing that happened so far using booking.com. if you are a light sleeper I will not recommend it then. At 3 am someone shouted loudly to wake up and laughed loud and then ran away to their room. it had me awake and it was disappointing that those young hostel residents will do this for fun only. toilets can be packed as there is only one toilet for the entire floor. Some of the most guys stood and it just feel a bit odd. recommended to young party people only. sorry, this may just be my own experience. others might have a different experiences.

really lovely place with huge open rooms in a nice student area just a short walk along the river from the centre. clean with lots of space and light.

Would not recommend for young groups as there was a very strict time curfew and noise level which ruined the atmosphere for us. Some of the staff were helpful and kind (young lady at reception) but others were quite rude and aggressive. They do not tell you about the additional charges prior to booking. We were charged an extra €80 of “tourist taxes” at check in.

Good facilities, kitchen was well equipped. Rooms were bright and spacious. Excellent location, only a short walk to the centre.

I wish I would have had some shampoo for the shower

The reception is 24h. Rok was friendly. He gave me advice about the area and where to eat. I could leave the baggage earlier as the weather was rainy although my flight delayed for more than 3 hours and I checked in on time. When I did check out, my flight was at 5pm but I could leave the luggage and then pick it up after so I could do a last visit around Ljubljana. There was a kitchen although I was exploring outside and eating out. Didn't use it but it is appreciated. Room and toilet quite clean and beds comfortable.
