Difficulties with evening check in… Breakfast basic… For my opinion accomodation prices in Slovenia are a bit too high in general…

Great for a one night stop over. Bed was extremely comfy and room clean, although no soap in the dispenser. Also no tea or coffee making in room. Curtains were light and unfortunately the light under our room 7 kept coming in and off disturbing my sleep.

Unfortunately the night we stayed, there was a private party at the restaurant. Our room was right above the restaurant, so the music was blaring until 3 a.m. No sleep at all. I'm surprised why we were not given a room at the distant part of the hotel providing we were the only guests at the hotel.

Very nice hotel on the main square of cute little village. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Free parking in front of the hotel. There is amazing restaurant on the site. Food was incredible. We really enjoyed it. Would highly recommend the place and for sure come again

We liked everything!

The place is beautiful. It might have been also due to the time of year we visited (just after new year's day) and all the lovely Christmas decorations and lighting still around, as well as the frost that fell on the night we arrived but there's no doubt the hotel is great quality accommodation and beautifully maintained. The staff were really helpful, with clear instructions (also in English) and patience for any questions. They waited for us even though we arrived after the latest check in time. The room was spotless, warm and very spacious, with a very comfortable bed. Our dogs were welcome. The area around the hotel is well kept and is interesting to walk around. The breakfast selection was simple but abundant. All in all a great choice for us and it convinced us even more to visit Slovenia again for a longer stay.

Hotel's surrounding and the settlement are very quiet, which is why we chose it. Chief makes tasty and decorated food, so I would recommend it for lunch or dinner.

Not everything in the bathroom functioned (shower head, ventilation).

Perfect location for exploring the area, good value, kind staff (even with a limited reception), overall cleanliness and good food for breakfast and dinner. If we were staying longer we'd try the wellness.

Nothing at all.

Very nice position across the road from the beautiful church. (The church bells are not a problem as they don't ring at night). The hotel has been very tastefully modernised, keeping some of the old features.The bed was very comfortable. Meals are good and reasonably priced. There is a spa with swimming pool and saunas a few minutes drive away. All the staff were friendly.

It doesn’t state the the rooftop pool had to be booked separately, but the staff kindly let us use it for a while as the hotel was very quiet. We booked the hotel because it had a pool so would have been disappointed not to use it.

Room was very clean, breakfast was simple but tasteful, staff was polite. We were just for one night with our dog. Pets are welcome, you can sit outside and breakfast with your pet. Nature around castle is amazing, it is so quiet and nice. Church is ringing, but that was not so disturbing for us.

Nice and clean hotel in small village. Hotel staff were super-friendly all the time. Good breakfast and good restaurant to have dinner. There was air condition in room so hot temperature (+35 outside) didn’t disturb sleep. Good location to visit different cities and attractions by rental car.

Not really a 4 star. Air conditioning not adequate in hot weather. No kettle or fridge in room and no condiments in bathroom boxes empty. Hotel was busy. Staff lovely but overworked!

Beautiful hotel surrounded by expansive countryside. Good restaurant and small supermarket in village. Excellent value for money.
