The shower system based on tokens was a bit annoying, but understandable given the need to control the water consumption

This is a mountain hut, so we haven't expected luxury and we hadn't gotten any :) The place is clean, the views are amazing, plenty of hiking trails at the doorstep and breakfast was delicious. Our dogs also enjoyed the stay and we appreciated the fredliness of staff and other guests.

After a whole day in the saddle and the steep climb of the Vršič pass it was a pleasure to arrive at this beatiful hut, take a shower and eat some tasty local dishes. The hut has everything you need: an up to 2 minute long shower, a comfortable bed in a dormitory or single room. It is possible to have dinner and breakfast in the morning. The staff is very kind and friendly. I would totally recommend it!

This is a great hut, and easily accessible as it can be reached by car (parking 1E/hr or 10E per 24hr) or bus (when they are running). There is something really special about being able to stay at the top of the Vrsic Pass, and great hikes all around. There is a Russian cemetery near where many of the prisoners (for whom the Russian chapel was built) died during an avalanche while building the Vrsic Pass. Great food also, as well as vegetarian options. Cool signs and decorations too. You can buy posters from them for approx 14E showing the surrounding mountains. I am including a photo of our room, and of the hut (hiking in the trees at the top of the path) on the morning after we stayed. Pretty spot.

The perfect spot to spend the night on my way from Kranjska Gora to Bovec. The staff is super friendly and their hospitality makes you feel like you are not in a mountain. I would definitely stay here again in my next visit.

The pillow is very small and flat which I found difficult with sleep. However for a nights stay it’s manageable

Too expensive for a 14-person dorm in mountain hut style (matresses like sardines). No space to hang out after the restaurant closed (10 pm). But that's an issue with a lot of Slovenian hostels, it seems.

Everything was perfect, maybe just one moment, parking was 10€ for 24h but that parking is from national park and question is to city and not to owners of hut

Everything was perfect, clean, food delicious, inside everything pretty new and modern and outside is looking exactly how should look a hut in mountain. Staff very friendly and helpful, thanks for nice experience.

It would have been helpful to have more than one hook in the room for hanging clothes. A drying room and / or an open fire would have been very welcome.

Beautiful peaceful location perfect for hiking. Very friendly and accommodating staff who helped me arrange transport when there was unexpected snow. Felt modern and private for a mountain hut. Comfortable bed. Quiet hours is a good idea, along with no outdoor shoes on the sleeping floors. Tasty food in the restaurant.

What a great location to hike in the Alps. What a view! The staff was friendly. We really enjoyed taking with other travellers. The food was warm and filling. The breakfast offered delectable Nutella croissants and eggs cooked to order.

There are far too few showers for the number of beds so there is quite often a bathroom queue. Some of the lights are on a drastic motion-sensitive time-out; a good idea for saving electricity but the cut-off kicks in after just 4 or 5 seconds meaning you are often plunged into pitch darkness while waiting briefly in a corridor or even just sitting on the toilet!

An efficient, clean and friendly place which feels more like a cosy mountain lodge rather than a hut or cabin. The breakfast buffet was impressive and surprisingly diverse and the evening menu tasty and not overpriced. The staff were all consistently friendly and helpful. Erjavceva is nicely situated slightly below and away from the crowds and parked cars that sometime clutter the very top of the Vrsic Pass.

Shared showers in the hall, for tokens. One token, 2 minutes of water. It is economical, I understand, but bit uncomfortable.

The only negative side is paid parking, 20 euros for a whole weekend is too much. There should be a few free parking spots available for the guests staying overnight.

The staff was super welcoming and friendly, which is especially rare at the end of the tourist season. The quslity of the dinner was a very pleasant surprise. Obviously the chef loves what she does (as many of her dishes are copywrited), which they should be. The dinner was the best food we've ever had in s mountain hut! Beautiful surroundings, even as we arrived by bycycle in pouring rain. Loved the whole experience! Thank you!

I book this place accidentally on the way from north to south . but I cannot do better . Amazing view, amazing guys and crew :) , all prepared 10/10.. absolute no issue with anything. lucky coincidence I book this place. Take care about that place as you do ..

The evening meal was not great, a bit tasteless... but you are in the mountains and the beer is good!

We loved staying at the mountain hut! The location is incredible and we went on some fabulous hikes from here. The staff were nice and helpful and the place is kept very clean. The accommodation is basic but as expected, it is the location and views that are the attraction. Breakfast was good with eggs cooked fresh to order and bread/ croissants/ cereal/ tea and coffee all available.

Amazing scenery and great food. Easily accessed by shuttle bus from Kranjska Gora. Lots of walks nearby, my favourite was Slemenova špica.

Sweet hut in the middle of the mountains. Amazing view, lovely staff, nice breakfast. We booked the private double bed room which was comfortable for a mountain hut and I would for sure do it again :)
