How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)

An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).

Everything was in good working order and tidy. In the dorm you get bed sheets and a towel, which is great and not what I am used to in mountain huts. Staff is really nice and helpful and the food was tasty and affordable!

Food is perhaps a little on the pricey side, given that all supplies can be delivered by road. €12 for ričet or jota.
Superb hut. Very luxurious for a Mountain Hut, due to being by the road. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Very clean and tidy. Fantastic food!

This looks like a mountain hut from the outside. But don't be fooled. It's a fully renovated building with all the amenities and feel of a great hostel including a full service kitchen, bar, warm showers and really comfortable beds. Staff were fantastic with all of their local advice. Dinner and breakfast were very good. And those views are just unbeatable for a location accessible by road.

To be honest I was alone in the entire dorm room with 14 beds. I can imagine if the dorm room was full as the beds are literally next to each other. I would not want to sleep face to face with a stranger 😂😂😂😂

Fell in love with the place. :) Wonderful location at 1500meters , great price and amazing traditional homemade food as dinner option and great breakfast, too. Very nice and friendly young personnel.

That I had to leave.
This is a truly incredible place. It’s within easy walking distance from the Vršič Pass and boasts a spectacular view of the surrounding mountains. The hike up from Kranjska Gora takes lungs but is manageable. The rooms and washing facilities are clean and comfortable, the dining room is cosy and ideal to spend a few hours reading or having a chat. The food is delicious - I’ve tried some of the stews and the stroodle and particularly enjoyed the home-made bread. The staff were all extremely friendly, knowledgeable about the surroundings and helpful whenever I had a question or a problem. The level of service is amazing, especially considering this is a mountain hut 1500m above sea level and logistics can’t be easy. On New Years Eve they went above and beyond with a fancy dinner for everyone. On top of that, they‘d invited this astonishing group of musicians capable of anything from Slovenien folksong, main stream pop ballads to Neue Deutsche Welle. I will gladly return whenever circumstances will allow it.

The dorm beds are literally touching each other so if there were other guests, that wouldn't have been ideal. It's a very 'mountain hut' vibe so perhaps it is fine for most :)
We stayed in the dorm during off season and had it to ourselves. Staff member was running the show all on his own and was extremely pleasant and helpful. Great views. Amazing goulash!!!

The only downside I can think of is that the breakfast started quite late (8:00) -- I hit the mountain trails much earlier than that. But that's a personal choice.
Excellent location to start early morning hikes around the pass; the mountain hut is run by very friendly people. I did not make use of the restaurant (I had dinner before and left before breakfast time) but the food looked and smelled good. The rooms / toilets / bathrooms are clean. Don't forget to read the humorous signs distributed through the building :-)

Wonderful. A fantastic experience whilst hiking through Triglav NP and the Soča Valley. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is great, and although the beds in the dormitory are close together, it contributes to the hut vibe. It is easy to order dinner, and the included breakfast is tasty. Highly recommended!
