How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Our first experience with a mountain hut, but very tidy and clean and also very friendly staff. The food was good (some of them typical Slovenian dishes) and breakfast was very decent. But above all great atmosphere and good location to start your hikes!

Noises are heard very early in the morning (7am or before), if you are not a very heavy sleeper you may wake up several times.
Good location if you are by car as it is in the middle of the mountains. Beautiful views. Very good breakfast, we liked being able to pay only one ticket and share it between two.

Location: perfect for exploring nearby moutains or just to chill in the beautiful enviroment, tasting great local food. Breakfast was great. Staff friendly. Location is also pet friendly so another bonus.

Breakfast was excellent, with very good coffee, croissants and fresh home-made bread. The staff is really nice and caring, and the location with its views is exceptional.

I loved everything, I mean the place is a dream come true, mountain paradise, I got upgraded when I arrive do definitely very happy about that, and the owners are really working hard to make things right and everyone happy , they also brought me to the center as there were no buses at the time of this season , so it was really nice and helping , I recommend 100%

It was amazing staying. Of course location is very nice with beautiful mountain view but especially staffs are amazing. They are kind, friendly and very helpful. Definitely I recommend.

The only problem was the gents facilities had a strong smell of ammonia . They were very clean so perhaps it's an ammonia based eco-steriliser but the smell was very pungent.
Worth staying for the location alone ,but staff were great ,food and drink very nice ,and the mountain road on each side of the pass are great for motorcycling .

Breakfast was average and not a lot of dinner selection. I’m surprised the lack of tourist information given on check in. Very much this is how you enter your room, shower tokens and do we want breakfast? I’d look somewhere else to stay next time.
The views was fantastic and there were great hiking in the area.

we were disappointed in the welcome we received. Or actually didn't get it. Due to a delay we were later than planned, which we promptly communicated. Once we arrived, there was no welcome, they were clearly not happy that we only arrived around 9:00 PM. We were told that we could not get breakfast there for the next day because the kitchen was already closed. There was a booking so they knew we were coming, also that we would be late so a message asking if we would like to have breakfast the next day could have been done. When we pointed this out we were told that they are not a hotel but a mountain hut. As if you can only expect some service with a smile in a hotel. Parking is €10 per day. Or not... we were not informed about this and Booking.com indicated that you had to park there for a fee and later we heard from other guests that this was not necessary. No idea what it is like now, but something to keep in mind. The bedroom did not smell very fresh. The bathroom is fine if you don't mind the moldy ceiling.
The location is perfect! The food was good. The shower was oke.

Too loud between rooms and to hallway, hard to go to sleep early with kids. Expensive food and extra fee with parking.
Good for hikers tavellist through but not as a base for several days if hiking with kids. Spektakular views.

Tokens for shower (2min for each night you stay), charged me an extra euro for tourist tax (5 instead of 4), the beer was more expensive then in nearby huts (5 instead if 4 euros).
It's okay place to stay for one night. If you want to hike in the mountains or are in middle of a trip through them.

Lack of common areas to chill. After 10pm you have nowhere to stay and relax. Everything seems to be about money.
Location is amazing if you want to enjoy Triglav National Park
