I liked the quiet vicinity. The appartement was spacious and had also a fully functionable kitchen. The bed was very confortable! The hostess was very kind, she borrowed us her private drying rack. (only one night)

We loved our stay at Hisa Posebne Sorte! The dinner was delicious, staff very friendly, and gave us a great recommendation for a winery to visit. They also helped us find a wonderful e-bike rental so we could spend the day biking around the valley. It has a very small town feel to it, in the best way, and the hospitality was superb. It’s in a great location for cycling, hiking, vineyards, and visiting the caves. They were very eco-friendly, which my wife and I really appreciated.

We booked here for an overnight stay underway to Hungary from Switzerland. The stay was great, it exceeded our expectations! The location is beautiful on a quiet street towards a small romantic village, overlooking an orchard. When we arrived our dinner was served on the outside terrace. It is for the cooking that you have to go here! Great local food, wonderful wine, and you feel really taken care of. The rooms are comfortable, enough space, simple rooms, good beds. The breakfast the next morning was served on another terrace and really good: eating at this place is a great pleasure!

Although we could never tire of the beautiful view while dining or relaxing at the residence, it was hard to find open lunchrooms, restaurants or bars in the area. But when you love nature, hiking and peace - all that doesnt really matter at all.

Imagine; you've been driving for a long while and arrive at this mansion located in the middle of beautiful nature. With the host awaiting you and welcoming you for a winetasting to begin with, shortly followed by a 4 course menu of delicous food. Accompanied by some Johnny Cash music, lore of the area and Slovenian wine history. Everything they made was fresh, from local and seasonal produce. Best 'homecoming' I've experienced in a long while (The many cyclists staying over thought so as well).

The hot water wasn‘t running properly in the shower, no hairdryer, no glases in the room. Location beautiful but hard to find with bad cellphone reception.

Very nice staff, nice, cosy and clean room, homemade breakfast, good Wifi, beautiful nature, big parking space.

Did not like it to be so darn tempting to repeat the experience. There isn't a thing you could not like here.

There isn't a thing you could not like here. Seriously. Ok, the weather played a bit tricks on us the first day. But even it redeemed itself with a beautiful rainbow at the end of the day. So, when you have a group of friends or family, all of them having time (which can be the most difficult part these days) and you want to spoil them (and yourself), book a stay. Reserve a table for dinner. And then - enjoy.

Everything was great.

Hiša posebne sorte is a perfect getaway. It is very peaceful there and the hosts are welcoming, warm and caring. The food is delicious and vegetarian friendly. We definitely recommend it and will surely come back.

Great family running a well kept and caring place. Rooms were clean and comfy. food was good. we felt they loved their job and went beyond to make us feel good. the owners are also great singers and dancers! 😉

Only inconvenient was the comfort of the room : although terrace and/or balcony was expected, our room and our only window gave on a common outside area/corridor. Noise from water pipes coming from other rooms and from the adjacent breakfast room can be heard in the room.

Dinner and breakfast was really good, staff was friendly and helpful, very calm location :)
