How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

There is only one bathroom for five rooms. The walls are on the thin side and the floors on the upper levels creak so you can hear it in the room.
A very hospitable woman helped us plan our trip. The location is excellent, close to the beach, bakery, and shops. Our room was nice with a big bed. The room could be well darkened at night.The air conditioning in the room worked very well! The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook. A trip to Piran is easy by boat, bus or bike.

Some of the other tenants were loud and did not think of switching the light off in the common areas but it has nothing to do with the place as such

The location was superb. The owner of the place was just a call away if a hiccup occurred, she was super nice and very knowledgeable. The apartment was very clean and felt cozy.

Perfect location, the town center, the city beach, the food shop is within 5 - 10 minutes walk. Parking for a reasonable price is also in a walking distance. To unload your luggage you can use a parking garage 50 m from the house and it is free for one hour. The lady who owns the place is very kind and helpful. Expect a small cosy and clean house in a historical town center.

Zorana was amazing, really patient and helpful. Helped us a lot where to park and what to see. Location was also perfect. Highly recommend to everyone who is looking where to stay in Koper.

As soon as we arrived, the hostess asked us 3 times in 20 minutes to look after our child, although he did nothing, but she endlessly talked about how he did not want to make him noise. We arrived after a long road, but since we did not have cash to pay the tax, the hostess sent us to an ATM. it would have been more convenient to leave 8 euros in our room later, as is usually happens with other bookings. We planned to arrive at 13.00, but due to a traffic jam in Ljubljana, we arrived at 13.30, the hostess did not forget to mention that she had been waiting for us for half an hour. The rooms are very small and stuffy. There is a tiny common terrace where the windows from the three neighboring toilets look out. I do not recommend it even if you want to save money

It was a very well equipped, nice, comfortable accomodation. The lady who runs the place was so kind and helpful! I can only recommend this hotel, our stay here was beyond great!

Everything was fine!
The room was very comfortable, with thick, old walls and air conditioning protecting from the Adriatic heat in the summer. The house is located perfectly, few steps from the Koper main town square. The kitchen and bathroom offer everything one can need just in case of. And the host is extremely nice and helpful!

Amazing host, I felt so welcomed and was informed about Koper and all of the coast, and options for sightseeing! Room was very comfortable, kitchen was very well equipped and always very clean. Shared bathroom was never dirty or wet, it was always very proper. The best location ever! 2 minutes from main square, 5 minutes walk from the beach, and just few minutes to all of the historical places. I would highly recommend this place and I would like to stay there again!

Shared bathroom which means you have to wait for other people until the finish using the shower ot toilet and they left their stuff there, shared kitchen which meant we ate breakfast with other guests at the same table
