Water in the pool is a little bit too cold for my taste. If you don’t have dinner in the hotel there isn’t a lot of restaurant near by.

Maybe just a bit more diverse healthy options for breakfast.

We loved the place where we were staying. Very comfy and the vibe was just perfect with a glass of vine. We love this kind of style in the house/hotel. The staff is so friendly and everything was great. Definitely a place to stay and explore. There is also a small walk (20min) to Štanjel.

*our room was rather small bed was placed against the wall which is difficult for the one who lies enclosed and wants to get out also there was a shelf and light above the bed, but it was placed so high that some acrobatics was needed if you wanted to put your book or phone on the shelf or switch the light on or out also we missed some plugs in the room, for uploading *pool area looked a bit severe - i would place some plants to brighten it the place a bit

St.Daniel is a wonderful biohotel with great character and heart. Amazing atmosphere, beautifully decorated, incredible hosts, wonderful staff, outstanding gastronomy with local ingredients only. A magic place. It is a very special experience to have a great memory of Slovenia. There is nothing not to like. I would repeat St.Daniel without a doubt. Totally recommended for anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable experience. Thanks so much!

Nothing. The only thing that can maybe be improved for the future is the area around the swimming pool, to make it more ‘cosy’ like the other side of the building with the amazing garden, relaxt patio (and the neighbors who sell great natural wines - go and taste ! )

The hotel is located in a very beautiful and quiet area, nonetheless the perfect starting point to explore the Karst region and beyond. Nina and her husband are the best hosts anyone could wish for. Thanks a lot for making our stay so pleasant - also for our dog. We felt very welcome.

The dinner was lovely prepared but was a bit boring.

The location is really quiet and in the middle of nature. Rooms are clean, cozy and comfortable, with care of details. The brakfast and dinner are excellent and really fresh! The staff is wonderful, Nina and her family have a good vibes and warm heart, we always feel at home! Also, healing practice was an intimate and well handed moment.

Wifi was a bit weak

Very quiet location with lots of quiet well surfaced roads around for biking. Lovely spacious well equipped room, staff all very friendly, delicious evening meal and breakfasts, the former a set 3 course the latter a buffet. Went to great lengths to make sure my wife had lots of dairy free food options. Lots of lounge areas for sitting and relaxing. Secure bicycle storage (owner had a range of vintage bicycles on display).

Really lovely people who made us feel so welcome and at home. Did all they could to help make our stay all it could be with sourcing bikes, dinner bookings and so on. Lovely rooms, thoughtfully and stylishly decorated. Beautiful location, great breakfasts. A thoroughly relaxing place to be.

Our bedroom - uncomfortable, cluttered, no wardrobe/closet, lights on bed difficult to reach, shower curtain too short, bathroom flooded, husband slipped and cut arm. Had to crawl over bed - up against wall. The manner in which we were dealt with when we politely asked to leave early. “You booked the cheapest room” was the response. €464.13 prepaid. and stayed 2 nights…No refund offered or asked for.
