How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The breakfast was amazing. Lots of fruit options, good coffee and great bread. Their yougurt with granola was also delicious. The staff working in the breakfast was super kinda and sweet. The bedrooms are small, however functional for people travelling light for a few days.

The room could use ac controller. As it was too cold for my liking, so pack warmer PJs when staying in the cabins.
Overall, great experience. The stuff were so nice and great. A big plus are separated bathrooms, they were cleaned everyday. If you want there is a mix gender bathroom. So there was no waiting time never. Everyone was so nice. The room was just the right size. Not too big not too small. There were panty of ports to charge all of your electrics.

Turning the air conditioning off in my room was impossible, but i didn't get sick so it was good in the end.
The location, the staff, everything being clean... and the breakfast!!

* Air-conditioning couldn't be adjusted and it was really cold in the room. * Mattresses weren't the most comfortable. They were fairly soft foam and had divets where people had slept previously. * Ladder to get up to the mezzanine bunk was difficult to climb.
* Good location, only a 5 - 10 minute walk from the bus/train station and about the same to Ljubljana Old Town. * Friendly staff on check-in. * I enjoyed the privacy of the pod room. * Plenty of toilets and showers. Good water pressure in the shower. * Spacious common areas with comfortable seating. * I had the buffet breakfast and there was a good selection of food. * The room and shared areas overall were fairly clean. * The room itself was reasonably quiet. * Bedding and towels were provided. * I was able to store my bags on the day of checkout. * Good WIFI.

The mattress was horrible. It was completely worn down in the middle so you were sleeping on the wood base.
Great location right by train/bus station and still close to town.

Would have had breakfast if there had been a cheaper option.
Really funky place, nice atmosphere, everything you need, wonderful location and view of castle from communal areas was fabulous! Room was compact but practical and bed comfy, we slept well and it was quiet. Individual bathrooms v clean with shower soap provided. Variety of indoor and outdoor communal areas and attractive communal kitchen/dining area. Filled rolls, croissants and yoghurt/fruit available to purchase. Juice, and hot drinks available. All you can eat breakfast available for 15 euros, we didn't have. Big luggage lockers really handy (1 euro coin) , we left bags before checkout so we could explore city, and were able to pick them up on way to bus station Hotel is great value fori money.. Staff spoke good English and very pleasant, efficient and friendly.

The location was excellent, very close to the train station and centre of the city with cafes, supermarkets, etc nearby. We found that the facilities at the hotel were good and it had a good friendly vibe about it. Would definitely stay here again.

The bathrooms were always dirty, no matter the time of day. I’ve stayed at several hostels who managed that much better. The A/C was too loud and too cold for my taste, even on the lowest option. I would have liked a “sleep mode” for the night.
I like the concept and the staff was very friendly.

Toilets always smelt, weren’t always cleaned regularly or properly.
Location was nice and close to the station, and only a short walk to the markets and similar.

It was all great

Bathroom cleanliness could me maintained more
Surprisingly very comfy bed, room is small but still bigger than other capsule hotels we tried. Nice facilities (e.g. pingpong, rooftop bar), prime location (5 min from bus station). Perfect for 1 night stay

This is like a hostel without a shared room, lovely spacious beds, and shared bathrooms like a hostel but great accessories like hairdryers and large, new showers.

It was a little expensive for a hostel, and you don't get a very large room or your own bathroom. But I would say it was still worth it, since it is still a very comfortable place to stay and breakfast was included. Another fridge would be helpful. The one there was completely full, so I wasn't able to use it at all unfortunately.
Very quiet and comfortable. Nice to have separate showers/bathrooms, rather than communal ones. They were clean enough but it would be nice if there was maybe a small squeegee included in each one, since people don't often get rid of the water they leave behind. Breakfast was good, but probably only worth it if you pay in advance. Plenty of shared space to do work and relax.
