How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

we had no complaints
The accommodation is located in the immediate vicinity of the old town. The room was clean, we were able to prepare coffee and tea. Excellent breakfast, a large selection of savory and sweet items and phenomenal sour milk. Secure parking

Honestly it served it purpose. The mini fridge on the floor cracked me up. The only thing was the door to the bathroom had a wooden slat on the ground and I stubbed my toes twice. lol
Solid room. Clean. Nothing wrong for a solo traveler. Staff were SUPER helpful.

I would appreciate a bath mat on the floor after leaving the shower room.

Big room comfortable beds. In a great location. No facilities to speak of but a very good price if you're out and about.

The top floor the lift never arrived. But good work out daily haha Other visitors really loud banging doors etc through out the night but that's not the hotels fault.

Staff not friendly and the light in the ceiling of the bedroom was not working (but we managed with the bedside table lamps)

We do not find easy the hotel . The entrance of reception and entrance of the room are on different location . On the street it does not have BIG sign of the name of the Hotel .

The location was great, right across from the President's palace and within walking distance of the city center. The room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom had a heated floor, which was great during the cold winter.

The fridge should be under the desk and not exposed in my opinion

Thin walls and the door to the room had a gap - you could hear everything that was going on in other rooms and on the hallways.
Located near the city centre - only about a 10 min walk. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom. Helpful staff.

I struggled with the mattress. Rather hard for my liking.
Good Location - walking distance to the city centre/the castle. The breakfast selection is fine. Good value for money overall

We were disappointed with organization of the breakfast. Not enough space for all in the main dining room so we were send to underground room next to the kitchen. They did not set nothing down there so we had to carry all food and drinks. Least the drinks could be set downstairs as there were coffee machines but not set to work. The food was good.
We liked the location, great for Old town just couple min from it.

"The hotel has a good location, but unfortunately, reaching the reception is quite confusing due to the lack of proper signs. There's no lift available, which makes it difficult for older guests or people with disabilities to access the rooms comfortably. I would not recommend this hotel for those with mobility issues."

I’d imagine summertime would be very hot as no air-conditioning but this is advertised…with the window open it was pleasant but that was on a 15 degree day…little noisy with slamming doors but nothing to complain about.
Roomy apartment, very close to the centre once you find the underpass which is very handy…great large beds and all else quite good.

Lift is quite old. Fridge inside the room is really small, could be better.
Location is great! Room was clean and confortable. It is good for short stays.

it is a bit confusing that the reception is in one building, the rooms are in another building, the breakfast restaurant is in the third building, and the parking lot is nearby in the fourth building. But once you get over it, the hotel is perfectly positioned.
Location of the hotel is great. It is realy close to city center. Breakfast was good. Standard breakfast.
