Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. Czech RepublicGeneral opinion is that this hotel is a bit overrated. There is nothing particularly really bad it’s quite fine, but I would rate it as average and a little bit cold without specific nice spirit. I spent my time (as a frequent traveller to Bratislava) maybe in 10 other hotels and I felt much much better and had more pleasant time. Also, regarding the breakfast, the variety of the breakfast was good, but quality of food itself was very very average.

Slovakiavery soft mattresses and huge one sized pillows made my nigh a nightmare. Cleanning of chandeliers is required. The Hotel pretends to be top notch however dirty chandeliers made our experience "cheap"
I liked the location (except stupid US embassy fence) and staff. Food was also nice. Excellent breakfats extep dirty chandeliers in dinning room.

The hotel boosts a grand history, very amazing and rich. The Mirror Bar is just absolutely amazing. The staff was very nice and considerate.

SwitzerlandThis is our go to hotel when we're in Bratislava, but this time we were not so happy as the towels were stained from make up and the bed was too soft. The rest of our stay was however very good as usually.
Hotel staff is really pleasant to talk to. They are also willing to resolve issues promptly. We had a problem with guests who had a very loud party in the room below ours and when we informed the reception about it they called them to make amends quickly.

PolandAt the time of hotel check-in, the behavior of the receptionist was really disappointing. her expression and attitude were quite aggressive. When I handed over my passport and requested an invoice during check-in, the staff replied, "Wait a minute. Can't you see that i am helping check in you now?" After being handed the invoice, when I pointed out the wrong amount, she just took a invoice and corrected it without saying a word. when she correcting invoice, I asked to her "Can I have the invoice when I check out tomorrow?", but there was no response. This was the worst check-in ever. It was a visit with the company president and this is my second visit to this hotel but i think that there won't be a third visit.
The location, cleanliness and breakfast of the hotel were excellent.

United KingdomThe hotel is part of a large hotel chain group and therefore very busy, noisy and not very unique to the city you're in. The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable with only very flat feather pillows provided.

United KingdomThe bar was shut, and I was told it was technical problems completely untrue. I booked a table in the restaurant at 7.30 and no one was there at 7.30 nor at reception. So we left and went into town, which was amazing. The rooms are dated and smelly, the air con didn't work. I was charged on top local taxes at check out that was not ever mentioned.

AustriaWhat really spoiled our experience was our departure from the hotel. We asked the receptionist to call us a cab. Instead of a cab, a vehicle without any marks or any taxi meter showed up. The driver knew the time of our departure and where we were supposed to go (so it was the car called by the receptionist). The driver took us for a 5 minute ride and asked for 17 euros. It was a total rip-off. This all despite the fact that we speak the local language fluently.
We like the hotel and stayed there a few times before. It has very nice rooms and is in a great location.
