Hostel with basic cooking facilities. Shower was a little cold and low pressure but worked well enough.

Perfect location for reaching the trails and arriving by train. Accommodation was basic but bedrooms were large and comfortable. It was great to find a hostel with an apartment. Small supermarket within walking distance.

There was no-one available to check us in and no-one was picking up the phone number listed on the door to contact in case of reception being closed. 2 out of 3 of us had a thick mattress on the bed but one of us was literally sleeping on wooden slats.

Superb location with basic but very clean and a spacious facilities. Parking available at a discounted rate. Great location for hiking.

Perfect location, easy access to Strbske Lake. Helpful staff, optimal tourist accommodation for hikers. Bars, restaurants are nearby. 2 minutes walk to the Tatra train.

The hotel is pretty old and looks was not renavated for some long years.

Location is the main value of the hotel. Very close to mountain paths, ski lifts, shops and restaurants. Private parking is also an advantage.

The conditions are typical for a shelter - nothing special, but when you spend the whole day in the mountains, you do not care.

We were woken up at 4.15am by other people constantly slamming the bathroom door (which was just oposite our room), and many others getting ready, paper walls.

The location is awesome, clean, good value for money comparing to other overpriced hotels near by. We have stayed before our hike to Rysy. Late check in possible. Parking additional 5€ for your stay.

There is no breakfast but there is a kitchen (however, a small IKEA electrical cooking plate did not seem to work just to boil 2 eggs for breakfeast, also there were no instruction if it did work). There is small simple shop in the same building but not well supplied, with no great choice (i.e bread etc)

Location was good. The accommodation is an equivalent to the Youth hostel, basic but well managed and clean. Sometime can be noisy (small children playing in the corridor or staircase) The place population (of approx 300 local people) consists mainly of tourists in the hotels. But still some cheaper eating facilities still exists near the railway station. People are very nice. The tourist office is excellent.

The water was not too hot in the morning, but was warm enough to take a nice shower.

Great location, very nice and helpful hosts, really great for the money. Comfortable enough beds, really well equipped and clean rooms, with nice atmoshphere. Well working heating. If you are planning to go up to the mountains I'll definitely recommend staying here. You can also find a shop directly infront the hotel if you need anything to eat, cosmetics, etc. Parking is available behind the building for a small ammount of extra charge, definitely worth it.

Great place for a budget stay near Strbske Pleso. Perfect location for hiking and visiting all the attractions, also very close to the train station. Very friendly staff. There also is a transfer to Tri Srudnicky and other trail starts, and we used that to get back to our accommodation, we were picked up in a heavy rain and super happy there was this possibility.

The mattesses are very old and soft. It’d worth to change harder and new ones. It is hard to sleep well in it and rest at night.

Could do with deep cleaning in some areas e.g bathroom and refurbishment as it is a bit dirty and run down. But they clearly did a good clean before we arrived.
