Smell of weed from other guests but its not the problem of the hotelowner, i understand it is a common thing in Thai Hotels. I just wonder how this can be managed in future, when Kids are next to guest like this.

We don’t mind this because we rent a bike from the property but this location is a bit more remote. There’s only 1 restaurant to go to for dinner in walking distance and it will be a hard walk in the middle of the day. However they will deliver for a low fee it’s very good food and spicy (if you ask).

The women who runs the property was extremely kind and treated us like family. The pool was nice and the outdoor area of your bungalow was perfect for relaxing and comfortable. Easy to get transfer to the pier for boat tours:) good breakfast at property too

The TV had a very limited selection of channels, not that we wanted to spend time watching it.

The rooms were lovely and private looking onto the pool. The pool is clean and a nice space to spend time. The owner who looks after it is lovely and gave us great advice on places to visit in the area. It feels very personal and we were made to feel very welcome. The breakfast is simple, but well cooked and suited us very well. The location was perfect for us, near the lake and the National Park without being noisy or busy. With a hire car it was very easy to get around.

There’s not too many places to go to eat in the area, but the restaurant that gale directed us to was delicious! There was also a market set up behind the temple if you walked into town which took about 25 min.

Gale was super attentive and so sweet. She picked us up from our last stay which was in a somewhat remote location and she really helped us out. I think the layout of the place is super cute, with everyone having their own little building for each room. And the pool was great and much needed in the heat. I loved how clean and modern it looked and the plants were gorgeous.

Nice spacious rooms that open onto a very nice pool area. It has a nice vibe and is a nice place to chill or access Khaosok park. We wanted to leave early the next morning and they had no problems preparing an early breakfast for us.

Host was very helpful with arranging day trip to lake and dealing with miscommunications from the tour operator. Only 6 nice bungalows so not crowded. Decent pool for a quick dip, comfortable, fine enough breakfast, good value overall. Good restaurant 800 m up the road.

The rooms are very basic with old fittings with some damage and not decorated for a long time so stale and smudges everywhere, small holes in wall and ceilings. The shower is in a small knock through extension and is unfinished and very bad diy job. Many cobwebs, dust and dirt on ledges in bathroom and kitchen curtain rail etc been there a long time. I asked the owner if she could remove cobwebs but she turned her back and accused me of complaining!! No action was taken. It is budget accommodation sure but no excuse for unclean. The toilet was very clean thank goodness. Communication with the hotel before my stay was terrible. The emails are handled by the hotels agent who was slow to respond and gave wrong information about the lake excursion and my forward transport. The hotel owner additionally did not know about the conversations we had and completely contradicted her advice. I sorted my own arrangements ultimately after help from fellow guests.

The set up is quite nice with a reasonable sized pool and nice greenery in the grounds. Very close to the pier for the lake where the long tail boats set off from.

When we arrived our room was hot. We turned air on but minimal cooling. We asked owner who basically dismissed us by saying “That’s as good as it gets”. He didn’t bother coming over and checking room. Once air was on it blew down in our face ALL night. Area of property questionable, didn’t feel safe. Glass door didn’t close tightly. Tired property. Looks like pictures were taken 10 years ago. Door to bath and shower weren’t to code so had to duck to get thru. Checked out three days early. Disappointing.
