Awesome quiet spot close to the beach (5-10 minute walk) and restaurants / shops. Alex is a super friendly host too, and will do his best to help with any requests.

Everything was great, staff was very helpfull. There is a pool in which we were mostly because we did not like the beach on this side of the island. Beds were very comfortable and it was quiet so we had a very good rest. Jacuzzi is also great!

The bungalow is spacious. There is everything that you might need, including the desk and strong Wifi. I traveled with my cat, also the owners were very helpful. They arranged taxi transfer for me, and I also rented a bike from them to go around the island.

Perfect for families :) We loved our stay at the Moon Cottage. The private garden and jacuzzi are all lovely, as was the swimming pool. The place is clean, convenient and close to a nice beach, as well as a good choice of restaurants. A kettle, toaster, fridge and microwave are all provided and there’s a convenience store and pharmacist about five mins walk down the main road. The owner is remarkably kind, helpful and accommodating. He speaks English, French Spanish and Portuguese and his wife speaks Thai and English, so you’re pretty much covered! Highly recommended :)

We loved this place so much we decided to extend our stay by an extra night. We loved the private pool and backyard we had. The room was spacious and clean. would highly recommend for anyone looking for a private & relaxing stay. The host was extremely kind and helpful, he even got Netflix working for us.

We loved the place. The cottage was nice with a beautiful garden and the jacuzzi was a plus. The WiFi connection works perfectly, room was clean with all amenities you may need. We spent a very quiet and relaxing time there. We would definitely go back. Very friendly host too

Very nice place; calm, green, comfortable. Additional bonus - your own jacuzzi. We used it almost every day. Nothing negative to say about this place. If I would come to Samui again, I will again stop here. Another bonus - Alex, owner of this place. He was really helpfull and advices us in all questions we had.

The extra bed for our ten year old was very hard and she ended up sleeping on the sofa instead. Also, whilst moving a few pieces of furniture around we did find some dust.

Moon Cottage is one of approximately 7 similar properties all enjoying their own private hot tub and a shared pool. The property itself was spacious enough with a good sized bathroom, a very comfortable bed, fridge, TV, sofa and coffee-making facilities. Outside was a small private garden with a hot tub, table and chairs. Our host was extremely friendly and helpful (French I believe, but with excellent English) and the complex was very well tended with a beautifully clean shared swimming pool. This is a quiet location but there were a few bars, restaurants and a 7-Eleven store close by on the main road. The beautiful Cheong Mon beach is a short walk (only 5mins or so) and Fisherman's Village at Bo Phut is a short taxi ride away.

The only problem that we saw was the shower, it should have to be a little inclination to dry the water and you don't need to use a dry brush.

The owner was splendid from the beginning to the end, he was a good host, he took care of everything that we needed, like we needed a motorbike and he provided one. The houses are in a good location and a quiet place, is splendid for a couple's ( in our opinion). And the houses are foul equipped to pass the dais that you needed.

Even though you have a front garden, it isn’t particularly private due to big gaps in bushes.

The apartment was very peaceful, with plenty of space to relax outside and had a nice jacuzzi to cool down in on a hot day. The room was a good size with good air conditioning (not loud or pointed directly at the bed) and the shower was warm with good pressure. Despite the calm location, the beach was only a 5 minute walk away and there were several great restaurants near by. The staff were very friendly and were always available if we needed help with anything.

The tile floor in the room is loose due to water damage. The shower has some flaws in the way the tiles are placed so the whole bathroom got wet. There was a leakage in the water spout next to the toilet. The yard is not as nice as in the pictures.

Generally felt in need of some TLC. Our terrace was damaged, the jacuzzi needed a proper clean (had murky water), and other areas could be updated. Everything was fine, but just effected the value for money compared to other properties in the area.

We had a great welcome to the property with a taxi organised to pick us up from the airport. The room was clean and comfortable, with air conditioning, hot water and our own garden area. The pool area was nice, and Alex was on hand to help with advise and recommendations.

The toilet was in a cupboard but there was a massive bathroom that was well decorated with plenty of room for a toilet not an issue just obscure but maybe that’s just me being ignorant can’t fault this accommodation at all to be honest

Beds were comfortable, host was great help with good suggestions, bathroom was nice and television had Netflix location was fairly close to chewang and was next to the airport which suited us (not so close that you can hear the planes) we hired a scooter and think without it it may have been a slight problem

Perfectly located in a quiet part of the island but not too far away from amenities. Tranquil at night and just a short 5 minute walk or less on a scooter to the beach. A good selection of restaurants and a couple of bars nearby make it a great place to stay. Rooms are perfectly sized, we'll equipped and exceptionally clean. Beds are super comfortable with a decent sprung mattress. Excellent value for money.
