How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Lovely hotel close to the flower festival. Arrived late but greeted by the owner. A short walk to the night market, in a quiet spot. Offered choice of a free massage or breakfast on the first day. Clean room and comfortable bed. Hotel arranged onward travel for us and picked up from hotel.

Very basic, clean amenities. Staff are helpful and friendly. Good AC and shower (with a curtain to separate from toilet). Small table and chairs and a refrigerator in the room was a plus. Great location, lots within walking distance. Good for a night or two!

A little tired
Really friendly staff, helped organise a very good massage aswell as a tight turnaround for some laundry. Very responsive. Location was good, only a small walk to town centre (school start/finish times were busy and loud, didn't affect us at all) good value for money

nothing Just a note for fellow travelers- During the Saturday Night Walking Street, that area will be noisy, happening and packed from about 5pm onwards to maybe 10pm. On other days (Except Saturday night), that stretch of road is relatively quiet, maybe just some cars zooming by
The young staff (Lada), who assisted me during check-in & check-out was so friendly & nice. The room and bedsheets were clean and comfortable. Spacious room size for 2 pax, with plenty of wardrobe space too. 1 minute walk to the weekly Saturday Night Walking Street 3 minutes to the park/garden right opposite the hotel. Wifi signal in room was also quite good. Housekeeping team provided 2 bottles of mineral water bottle on a daily basis (even without requesting). Will consider this accommodation on my next trip to CR!

Great place to stay. Clean and very quiet. The young afternoon receptionist was very helpful and suggested places to see including the night market to have a bite. very good. I had an excellent Thai Massage at the hotel for a 30 percent reduction. Just excellent. Thank you.

Shower head was broken.
Hosts were very nice. The location is nice and the room was lovely too. It has got AC and if you can't tolerate Ac they have nice nets for insects on the balcony door!

Bathroom could have been bigger. and a bit more organised.
Initial confusion about rooms were sorted. The staff are super. the hotel is in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. Weekend market and the school time snacks (school nearby and many vendors outside the hotel) were unexpected bonus. The quiet of the morning outside the hotel was what I'd remember most. huge parking, clean road. squirrels and birds. there is also a park, which looks kind of abandoned. but it was lovely to explore. oh yes, cutest dog in the hotel.
