Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

BelgiumSmall minus: the airco in our room was a bit noisy
Lovely bungalows set in a lush garden of jungle plants and flowers. Lots of details to create a homely feeling. Staff very helpful and friendly. Small outside kitchen with complementary snacks, fridge and microwave. Possibility to rent good quality motorbikes at the accommodation. We really enjoyed our stay there (2 nights).

AustriaBathroom was a bit outdated, but that’s the reason it is so fairly priced. We had all the comforts of an expensive resort but for way less money!
The rooms were a nice size and we loved all the little details that made our arrival special. The resort offered free snacks when we first got there. Every day we received two bottles of water in glass bottles, which I loved. We got a better deal on our scooter rental than we would have at other places. They were great organizing outings for us too. The food that came out of their little kitchen was also very fairly priced and so delicious. Many days we didn’t even leave our resort because everything was perfect there. We even had our own hammock on our porch and were visited by the cutest cats. If you don’t like cats, just don’t pet or feed them and they won’t come back (I was told by other tourists). But we fell in love with them. The resort also offered free paddle boards and we took advantage of this every day, paddling north to some great snorkeling places. The water is crystal clear and at this spot very shallow and warm, but just a little to the right or left it was very comfortable to swim in. The beach was small and very private, but you could walk from there all the way past zen beach (some of it in the shallow water) the pool had a view to the ocean, the bar was right above the beach and the people working there were fantastic. Very friendly, efficient and very helpful.

SwedenThe two large side windows (behind the TV) in the bungalow should be cleaned.. other than that no remarks.
This place is just amazing..! I stayed here for 14 days with my son. The garden is beautiful & lush, and really well taken care of. Spacious bungalows with ac & small kitchenette outside Lovely friendly & helpful staff + food is great! Clean pool with view over the water. A section of the pool is suitable for children (over 3 years) My highest & warmest recommendations, we’d love to come back.

LithuaniaSmell of mold in the room. Bathrooms could do an upgrade. I did not like the restaurant food, but tried only one dish so can’t really judge too much. Lastly, when renting a scooter - take a good video of any dents and scratches, they do check and inspect carefully upon returning. There was a scratch I had to show on a video that it was there before…
Great location - many restaurants nearby (short ride with a scooter), good coworking space next door. Free snacks and drinks provided. Did check-in an hour earlier that was much appreciated. Also, they rent scooters at the reception!

IsraelThe wifi could be better, disconnects some times The water pressure can be better
The staff was amazing, helpful, always smiling and willing to help. The place itself is gorgeous, not fancy but for us it was beautiful, the bar and the beach are just perfect. You can see beautiful sunsets with a nice cold drink and great music. The prices on the bar of drinks and food were really good and the food was excellent! And we tried many things! The room was cozy and the landscape outside and decorations using nature are incredible. This is not a fancy hotel, but it is a great place to experience the kho phangan vibes. So recommend!

GermanyBeautiful small hotel located at the beach with the most beautiful sunsets. We have booked a bungalow which was super cozy and we slept all so good every night. We’d loved the terrace and little kitchen with a cozy hammock outside, as well all the plants around. Special thank you to the fantastic and so friendly team at the beach Bar but also to the whole team.

IrelandThis our favourite stay on the island. The bungalows were lovely and right beside the sea which is grand but there is also a pool next door that you are able to use. Food and drinks in both place were good. The coconuts here were the best we had in Thailand. 😋 there was a night market up the road too. Great spot 💃

Just felt at home from the first night on. Stayed two weeks and didn’t want to leave. I can recommend the bungalows, there’s a little outdoor kitchen on the balcony, surrounded by a little jungle, just a few meters from the beach. The bungalows are small but absolutely nice with an eye for details, like pictures, romantic lights, an own beach bag and sarong, and the most comfortable bed with a double mattress I ever had in Thailand. The beach right in front is small and sometimes not there, but cozy to stay and the water was clear and beautiful to swim or walk to the little island in front. Just a few meters to walk and the beach gets wider, but I often just stayed there. Great plus; the owners and all people working there from the bar to the cleaning were super friendly.

United StatesThis place is close to all my favorite restaurants on the west side ( not walkable) also next door to a yoga resort that has different classes. Even if you only want to attend one session ( walkable) The restaurant is very good. The beach is tiny but it has such a beautiful sunset. Bungalows are clean with a jungle vibe. You can rent car or motorcycle at the property. There is a small pool in case you have kids but the water is shallow on this side so it’s perfect for family with kids. The fact that you have complimentary water every day is a positive point
