The aircon didn’t work properly and the stairs can be problematic for some people

I did not like the parade of ants in the room and my wife was not a big fan of the stairs but that was fine to me.

It is very loud at night but I feel this is to be expected on a party island.

Location and views were great. Staff were fantastic. Read a lot of complaints about the stairs but we had absolutely no issues! Don’t be put off by these comments!

It is quite a climb to the hotel rooms! You definitely get your steps in! 🚶‍♀️

First night I stayed in 5c and the bed was itchy, checked for bed bugs but couldn't find any asked to relocate to new room and staff sorted it asap. No problems in new room. The stairs are a killer but kinda add to the experience. Room wall are super thin so can hear eveything including the beach party which goes on til 4am

The view is lovely and the air con is a blessing. Staff are super friendly and helpful. The beds are hard but I liked them. Honestly it was an ok stay good value for money

The place was a bit worn down and dated (some damage on the floors, doors a bit wonky, bathroom tiles cracked etc.). Some flying ants got through under the door so you might want to stuff towel in there. We found a cockroach in the bathroom and mentioned it to the staff anf got it sorted so all good. If you are looking for modern and spacious, this place is not for you.

Great friendly staff, nice views from the balcony, good water pressure, nice location a bit further away from the hustle and bustle but do keep in mind you have to climb a fair bit of stairs to reach the place. For us this wasn't a problem though. AC was nice and quiet. Overall good bang for buck as far as Phi Phi standards go.

Great view to the Phi Phi harbour. Room was small, but clean. The side view from the room wasnt the best as there is another hotel with the terraces facing to the room. Staris we fine for us, as it was a nice exercise. Staff at the hotel was excellent and very helpful.

I was well aware of the stairs when I booked the room, I though it was great to have a nice view while being on a budget, but the true is that I did not go to the balcony even once and most of the time I kept the curtains closed for privacy. So every time I was coming to my room I kind of wish I would have booked a nearer hotel.

The staff was welcoming and respectful. Having a mini fridge was great to always have something cold to drink. You can use their beach towels (which is just a piece of fabric - no towel material- but still great to have). Because it is away from the centre, breakfast, tours and laundry next door were cheaper than what you find in the busier areas.

The place is located close to the valley and it's nice do those steps to reach your room. It's just few minutes walk out of the main shops, which is good. Unfortunately the noice at evening goes basically everywhere and no matter where you are, you ll hear the Tecno music till late night. But with earplugs you ll be fine! Just don't let the noise ruin your holiday because a lot of the places have this "problem".

This place has a good location - close to cafes, bars and and close to the beach. We were a bit worried about many stairs as we read about them in the reviews but we were on lower levels so it was acceptable. The room was clean and we found there everything we needed. This place is value for money.

The bed and pillows were slightly uncomfortable, other than that I have no complaints.

The property is very clean, located up a hill with lots of steps, however it’s far enough away from the night life of Phi Phi if you want something slightly quieter! The air conditioning was very good and the staff were so so helpful and friendly!

The second room we booked smelled of mildew and the bathroom smelled of sewage. The AC also stopped working. After talking to the staff we were able to switch rooms. The stairs up to the hotel are no joke, especially in the heat. But they are the reason there’s a view! You can hear music from the bars until at least 1 in the morning every night.

The views are stellar. We booked two rooms and one of them was clean and nice. The sheets were very comfortable.

You will have many stairs to go up until you make it to the room… but it’s worthy!

Such a nice view! The staff were incredibly helpful and nice all the time. They offer free “taxi” from the pier which is such a good help. Although you still have to walk they transport your heavy luggage. For ever thankful to the employees that carry the bags through those infinite stairs. Overall we really liked our stay.

It is a bit of a climb up, which I didn’t mind but my partner didn’t love. The wifi was poor and the staff weren’t the friendliest- but overall it was really good value.

The view was spectacular and we were just far enough from the party area to get quiet and an amazing night’s sleep. The beds were comfy and everything was clean! We also got free water for two nights which was very much appreciated.

The stairs are really challenger when its too hot. Be aware if you aren't in a good shape :)

There isn’t much soundproofing, so you can still hear the music from the bars until the early hours. The facilities are very basic. With the nice view comes a lot of stair climbing to get there, so be prepared.

The staff are extremely considerate - the help they provide taking your luggage from and to the pier is unbelievable. The view over the island is nice.

There were alot of stairs to climb and even though we were quite a piece away from the busy beach that is loud at night, ( reason we choose this location) the noise from the beach bar music is still like you were next door to it. It went until 3 am

The air condition started leaking some water on the 2nd day. I informed the reception. They sent someone to fix it. He was busy for quite some time, but eventually the issue was not resolved, it kept leaking but not constantly. During my stay I saw a snake outside my neighbours door, just be aware of your surroundings.

The view from our room was AMAZING. Rooms were clean. Staff was friendly. Be prepared because the rooms are located on an uphill but it is worth every step (184).

The walls are very thin, we could hear our neighbours at night and even the bed moving upstairs was quite audible. The next day the receptionist offered ear plugs. Also it’s quite a hike to the rooms, doing this hike everyday meant that we came in only to sleep. Weirdly, we needed to purchase water and it was not included in the stay.

Bed too firm. Aircon freezing 🥶 Room very tired and dated. 200 steps to climb to get to our room. In the heat not a good idea. They did bring bags up and down for us though.

Lots of steps to battle. Luckily for me I was on the lowest level. I’m very fit, work outside everyday and go to the gym daily and I was tired by the time I got to my room. Crazy to think there was 3 more levels up than this! Potentially worth it for the view?? Not complaining, was fine.. but any higher up I’d probably not be as enthusiastic.

Good view. Clean and tidy. Location was ideal for me as didn’t want to be right in the busy town. Helpful staff.
