There were lots of stairs to get to the rooms with view, some of them were broken and they didn't seem to be repairing them at the time. The streets to get to the location got flooded after the rain and you had to walk through waste water (or so, from the island's internal lake) to get there.

It's just a thought that staying here longer than 1 or 2 nights might be challenging due to lots of stairs - but for us for one night was perfect to enjoy the view and not get too tired :)

A room with the best possible view. Very comfortable, clean, well equipped - minibar, kettle, coffee, safebox. The staff was super nice - they have picked us up from the pier and took our luggage directly to the room. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The main downsides of this place are the stairs (well worthwhile for the breathtaking view, but problematic for those who struggle with stairs), and if you've come to Phi Phi to party you might want to stay a bit closer to town (however only about a 5 min walk from the bars, only really an issue if you're alone)

Absolutely stunning view! The hotel is a few hundred metres from the main area at the beach, but easy to find. There's a lot of stairs up to the hotel and your room so beware if you have mobility issues, but a man comes down to the pier to help with your luggage when you arrive. If you aren't in Phi Phi to party, this place is good as it's a little further from the bars and music isn't so loud at night

Only minus was that shower a little old and might need replacement. Also have in mind that there is a number of stairs to the hotel, but you can count your calories :) Not an issue but we think tv did not work.

Check in lady very friendly. We got some posters as a gift before leaving. They offer free transfer to hotel from the pier, they will care your luggage and walk you to hotel. Free cold water for your stay. There is a minibar in the rom with cold beer. Sea view. There was an air conditioner in the room which work really silently.

- the balcony door did not seem to lock and did not feel very secure. The safe in the room seemed to work now and then, but overall seemed untrustworthy - very thin walls, so can hear even if someone sneezes next door

- staff were exceptionally welcoming and lovely - very comfy beds and very good air conditioner - excellent view from the top of the hill - very good work out when going up the stairs to get to our room

The room next to ours at the very top of the property was empty and under construction which was a bit creepy at night when the door kept banging.

The view was incredible. Staff were very lovely, offering to bring bags up and down stairs and to the ferry. The stairs were a challenge but as long as you know in advance they're fine.

It wasn’t 100% clean and the shower is not very warm

Jam is the nicest staff ever. The rooms are comfortable and with a nice view (with lots of stairs to get to). The pickup from the pier and the help with the bags was a ++++. Also, the complimentary coffee was a nice touch.

The laundry was still wet when we got it back. At te reception they solved are problem with giving back a prt of the money. Really friendy, but I wouldn’t wash my clothes again here

The stairs are no joke - only stay here if you are physically fit. The water pressure for shower wasn't good. The walls were a bit thin and there was no free water. They gave you one small bottle when you first arrive and that's all.

Views from the room are amazing, bed was really comfy. Great air-conditioning. Very clean and had a balcony. Free coffee sachets when the room is cleaned. Pros outweighed the cons for us.

nothing however if you have problems with knees or cannot walk up a lot I would recommend you to find a different place

- very good view! the houses are located on a hill so you must walk up a lot of stairs but we didn’t mind as much because the view was amazing. up to the top houses where we had our room it was around 200 steps from the street (just to give a perspective) - clean, had everything we needed incl. hangers, mini fridge & towels - nice staff, they helped us carry the bags upstairs and answered all our questions

Lots of steps going up to the rooms which was a little difficult in the heat but worth it for the view from the room.

Staff were the loveliest people went above and beyond the help us. Met us at the pier when we arrived to help carry our bags and arranged the same for us when we left. Helped with any information we needed such as places for laundry etc. Room was nice with a lovely view of the island from the balcony. Aircon in the room definitely helped

Blue View Hostel was the perfect spot for our stay in Phi Phi. The hillside location offers stunning ocean views and a peaceful atmosphere away from the crowds, but still close enough to walk to the beach and town. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was super friendly and helpful with recommendations. Definitely one of the best places to unwind and take in the beauty of the island!

Based on the bad reviews we read before coming: * lots of steps (yes, but to have the beautiful view every morning/evening, you have to climb the 140 steps we had. If you come to party, it might be tiring, but it's still worth it). * The loud music (I think you won't escape it at night in any hotel near the center. Here they give you ear plugs at check-in). * You can hear your neighbors (unfortunately, the walls don't prevent you from hearing the other room, but it depends on how lucky you are to have good or bad neighbors.)

We went as a couple and chose the room with a view, which we highly recommend. Beautiful view, two free bottles of water per day, the air conditioning worked perfectly, the staff was super friendly, and you're within easy reach of the shops. We had a lovely four days there.
