Lovely grounds, great pools, great location on clean chaweng beach. Definitely maintenance needed on the wooden paths. Nicely renovated room Family Grand premiere room between the two pools. Clean pools. At the quieter end of Chaweng. Just a 2min walk to the loud part. Cool little kids club too. Breakfast is pretty good. High tide comes up close to the hotel and it is beautiful. Lovely staff. Fish to feed in the ponds. Just pricey.

I recently stayed at this resort for three days, and it was fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making our stay so enjoyable. The breakfast was also a highlight – delicious and with a great variety. Highly recommend!

Nothing. Every thing was perfect

The regent beach hotel is our choice for more than 2 decades and never lets us down. We strongly believe it's the best hotel in Thailand, and we've been around. All details are thought through and the stay was amazing, even though it was raining heavily. .Spectacular hotel

A problem throughout Thailand and not just this resort but the drain in our bathroom stunk. It wouldn't put me off staying again though.

Absolutely beautiful and a perfect location. The hotel is in central Chewang, you can walk everywhere, yet it feels like a remote paradise when you are in it. The rooms, pools, beach and bar are all beautiful. I love all the beach clubs which put on fire shows just next to it. Perfect!

I think everything was great and more than satisfactory. Restaurants around are a bit expensive and you can literally eat cheaper overseas in western countries.

Our accomodation was excellent with a lots of space. Staff was very nice and friendly. Lots of shops around for people who like shopping (not me) but most people would appreciate it. Breakfast was great but as a European I’m not used to cooked or hot breakfast. Even though I eat bacon and eggs, sometimes. I think breakfast lacked cold dish variety such as variety of cheeses, spreadable etc. Mayo potato salad? But these are just minor nick picks and in general breakfast was great

The privacy could have been a bit more. Porch could have privacy blinds, otherwise when people walk past they can see into the room if curtains aren’t closed.

Noisy air con

We got married on the beach which was awesome. The location was fabulous. The staff were fabulous as well. The GM was extremely friendly and a really nice person.

Lovely hotel and nice area but only complaint is it being a family hotel so when the children are asked not to jump into the pool because of people moaning about being splashed seem a little crazy as you are likely to get splashed laying next to a pool , also there was a adult pool in the hotel that if they didn’t want to be splashed they could have gone to that pool instead.

Smell of weed from other guests but its not the problem of the hotelowner, i understand it is a common thing in Thai Hotels. I just wonder how this can be managed in future, when Kids are next to guest like this.

The beach is beautiful when the water is not to low! In March it was best in the morning to the midday. The garden is beautiful, everyone friendly.

First night we were placed in rooms we didn't request, our teenage sons had to share a bed, the rooms were in very poor condition. We were told it was because the hotel was fully booked however our booking was made over 8 months in advance. We then had to relocate to the rooms we paid for the next day. Some other areas of the hotel were also noticed to be in need of maintenance, especially the beachfront area. Location was ok but busier than expected, the high volume of marijuana shops and the type clientele they attract is not compatible with a family holiday destination.

The view from the room was the wall of the next room … hardly inviting to sit out in the outside space … the main pool area was very crowded …

My husband and I loved the location, right in the centre everything is walking distance, Samui Central, markets, great restaurants and if you want to go further out there are taxis or tuk tuks close by. The hotel was exceptionally clean and well maintained gardens are stunning as are the pool areas. Staff are lovely and always helpful.
