How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I just wish there was a better ways to get taxis. But I definitely could of asked.
I liked the staff they made the hostel a cosy feeling!!

The breakfast is only toast with jam and bananas.
The beds were comfy and with curtains. The place was clean and with nice balconies to chill on.

The matrass is quite hard.
I had a pleasant stay. Everything was fine - included basic breakfast, clean facilities, common balcony to chill and socialize and located in a quiet area but lots of restaurants around. The beds had curtains.

The air conditioning couldn’t be used during the day, but it wasn’t a problem at all since there is a fan.
The hostel is very clean, comfortable, silent at night. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The staff is so kind, they were always taking care of me. The location is good, 20 min walk from the Pier or you can rent a motorbike easily. The hostel has good facilites, the room was clean every day. For sure I will be back here. Thanks a lot

The bathrooms are quite small and a little claustrophobic
Chilled vibe, really helpful staff! Breakfast was a nice touch And new water bottles given everyday was a bonus! Really great stay, would come back!

Great place, clean and big private rooms. We had a problem in our AC, and the staff was so kind that after they found out they can't fix it - they refunded us for our second night. Basic breakfast, the location is quiet but close enough to the center. Recommended!

As advice I would say to check the pipes. My bathroom, despite being very clean, smelled bad and the smell did affect my stay on certain occasions. If you could fix this it would be perfect.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. A 10/10 for them! The hostel had a great atmosphere, with friendly people and a lounge area on the third floor great for socializing. The private room was comfortable and well-equipped, with daily water bottles, coffee, and tea provided. Overall, I had a great stay.

They turn off the air conditioner from 11am-6pm, and it’s so hot.
Good price/quality, it has a breakfast incluide, friendly service.

The only thing I wish is that the dorm beds had privacy curtains.

Very clean, comfortable and in a quiet area close to nice beaches. The owners and the staff are always kind, friendly and helpful. Good breakfast included. My stay was perfect and I highly recommend it.

I've stayed there with friends of mine for two nights. It's a very nice and clean hostel. The toilets and showers are clean and good. The staff keeps the hostel clean and is very helpful.

How clean the rooms were and very spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful in organising activities and scooters. Linen on bed was exceptional.

I'd improve a few things in the future, if the budget will allow it. Just having a breakfast one day, with also the bananas made it way healthier and better. Possibly the addition of plastic curtains, to use in case of rainy and windy days otherwise all the common areas become unusable.
As a group of 5, we liked almost everything. Mostly the staff, always helpful , accommodating and smily ; the possibility to refill the water for free and the position (you will need a scooter for the beaches)

The breakfast was not great but it is ok for the money. You have coffee and tea, with bread, ham and butter. But there are good options for breakfast close the hostel
The place is comfortable, the 4 beds room is clean and has all the things you need. It has a balcony and the bathroom for the room so it was perfect. The hostel is a mix between a social and a quiet one so you can meet friendly people but at the same time get relaxed. The location is convenient, to a short distance by bike to all the major points in the island. I would say the best of the hostel is the cleaning.
