The authenticity of the bamboo huts was amazing. We also loved the facilities like the pool and view that accompanies the pool. We were a little disappointed that we couldn’t paddle or kayak because of the tide being so far out but I do think that it is a great complimentary service to have. Would definitely stay here again.

While the hotel was beautiful with great facilities and lovely staff, the noise level was a downside. I had seen comments about it beforehand but didn’t expect it to be as loud as it was—noise continued until 2 AM, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep.

I loved the beautiful hotel, fantastic location, great facilities, and the lovely, welcoming staff. The bamboo huts were amazing, adding to the overall fantastic atmosphere and making for a really enjoyable stay.

The lighting in the room was very good and in the evenings you can hear music from Slinky’s but we managed to sleep through fine

Its true, there is noise but we requested a room as far away as possible before we arrived and this helped. We heard the noise but did not effect our sleep both nights so no complaints.

Sadly the noise at night - not a fault of the hotel and reported frequently. I understand the eco based construction and “natural” intent of the hotel (all constructed from bamboo and very picturesque). I do think an eco friendly, sound insulating “wall” along the access lane to the beach would make a big difference. I would be sure this noise (and reviews), stops people from coming. This is a beautiful hotel on a beautiful beach / island. Hopefully hotel can read this and react - phot of a screened wall attached as example

We had a hut with beach views and although it was very nice, we felt it was overpriced. The other thing to really consider is the sound of the parties from across the harbour playing extremely loud and obnoxious music until 3am every night. Ear plugs were provided.

The huts were very cute and comfortable, with a real beach vibe and beautiful tropical gardens. The pool was great and there is an affordable massage service on the beach with highly trained Thai massage practitioners.

The only annoying part was the noise from the clubs around there every night until 3am which would make it difficult to sleep, also the location of the resort was Abit far from the main street and walking distance was a bit smelly.

The staff and the facility were great, would definitely go back.

Not a fault of the resort but a fault of the location: it was very loud up until 2AM due to the music from the party beach carrying across the water. The resort is located further down along the same beach where the main party on the island is happening every night. We were still able to sleep and we didn’t need any ear plugs, although the resort does provide them.

Extremely clean room, beautiful resort facilities including a pool surrounded by palms, restaurant with ocean views, kayaks for free and direct access to a nice beach you can swim at. In the evenings the staff set up an outdoor cinema in front of the pool with popcorn. You could watch the movie from the lounge chairs or from the pool, which was lit up and looked spectacular in the evening. Breakfast was delicious, everything fresh and lots of variety. The staff was always very friendly, wonderful service!

Rooms are very small and everything moves when you move in the room. There is no soundproofing so you can hear everything! The people next to you, the people at the pool, the people in the restaurant and most importantly the extremely loud music coming from Slinky's bar every night to gone 3am! If you want to sleep do NOT stay here. Stay on Tonsai side. The price of this room was extremely high for the experience we had.

Breakfast is amazing! The choice, the layout, the taste - all great! Location on this bay is lovely, but if the tide is up you cant get to the other side, you have to walk all the way round, which can go from a positive to a negative.

The rooms could have been larger for the price we paid. If you were too late to the pool then you could't always get a sunlounger. The description on booking.com was very misleading. It stated the bungalow features a pool with a view. We were next to the main pool with the sea view behind that. It was not a bungalow with a pool to ourselves which the description implied. Also the price we paid for the accommodation inferred that the bungalow had its own pool. Having said that our bungalow was in prime position but just not what we were led to believe. Our main bug bear is the noise from a club the other side of the bay. Due to the bungalows being made of bamboo there is little noise insulation. The base from the club was so loud on occasions that you could feel the vibrations. This would go on from early evening until 2.30am. We appreciate that this is not under the control of the resort however it is a very big negative if you want a peaceful relaxing retreat.

The resort is in a nice location within walking distance of the town with its many bars and restaurants. The staff were amazing and the bungalows were very Eco (made of bamboo). the breakfast buffet was excellent and catered for all tastes. the pool was excellent and kept very clean. It was a very idyllic location.
