Lovely bungalows built right above the pier so it can get a little overwhelming when you go out to the main street, luckily the resort is placed in a little street that separates you from the noise. The receptionist (which i forgot the name of) was really polite and helpful, laundry service was quick and precise, and we felt very comfortable. Thank you!

Would have appreciated the water, tea and coffee being topped up when the room was cleaned. Also due to its location, a mosquito net over the bed would be useful

Bathrooms could do with an upgrade and there’s no pool but that’s the only negative. Great place and would stay again!

We absolutely loved our 5 night stay at the Giggling Tree in Koh Tao- it was the perfect base in a great location. Super comfy beds & duvet, massive smart tv (so nice to have Netflix as an option for a chilled night!), very effective AC and a lovely balcony to relax on 🌴 Super quiet and peaceful, even though it’s only a 2 minute walk down to Mae Haad pier area with all the shops & cafes. Honestly probably the quietest place we stayed in Koh Tao and appreciated good sleep here 💤 Special shout out to T who runs the reception & resort and is the friendliest guy always there with a smile! Helped us out with booking laundry and recommended the premium Oxygen snorkel boat tour which was the highlight of our trip. Thanks so much T we will be back! 🙏

Our bathroom got a bit whiffy after heavy rain, which might be down to poor drainage in the surrounding area.

New and very comfortable bungalows within walking distance of Mae Haad town centre. You don't need to take a taxi to reach the resort, which is walkable in 5-10 minutes from the ferry terminal. Rooms are cleaned and serviced every day if you request it, and staff are very helpful and friendly. Overall, highly recommended.

No lights getting back to our room at night - had to use phone torches, but not a big deal.

The bathroom has a slight smell, and the walls are quite thin, so you can hear the TV from the neighboring room.

Needs better lighting at night to the top bungalows. Cleaners leave doors open when cleaning, so lizards and spider and a cockroach got in. Only one key so everything turned off when out of room so always returned to hit room.

Staff were lovely. It had new beds and ckean sheets. Bungalow was equipped with fridge and microwave. Electric shower was good and warm. Location easy to mae haad.

Absolutely everything. Cannot fault it at all! The rooms are lovely, the bed feels very luxurious and comfortable. Staff are very kind and accommodating. Great location, central to everything. Service is impeccable!

The toilet can get smelly and sometimes has a weird smell.

We stayed there for 8 more days than expected because it was so good. The facility is brand new and rooms are big. The location is great if you have a motorbike and descent if you don't (20 minutes walk from the main street). Will come back for sure!

It would be great to have separate electricity line for the fridge to keep drinks cold during the hot days while you are away.

Good economical choice to explore the island. The place its quite new, with few bungalows. It is close to the pier and the area has lots of restaurants and bars.
