How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Nothing bad to say its a good hostel
Clean. pool table. Also decent food. Beds were comfy with the blanket near lots of other restaurants and a convenience store

Adjusting the shower temperature (boiler) is difficult if you’re shorter, and a no-shoe policy throughout the entire building could improve floor cleanliness. I was also asked to share my credit card details via WhatsApp for the key deposit due to the reception closing early—a request I found a bit concerning as I prefer more secure channels. The reception staff are kind, but their English is quite limited, which makes communication a bit challenging. Unfortunately, I encountered bed bugs in room 3 on the first floor (bed 3), spotting two on my privacy curtain, which made me leave in the middle of my first night. Bed bugs aren’t a sign of poor hygiene—they simply travel like we do—and I hope the hostel gives this issue prompt attention. Despite this issue, the hostel has many positives, and with some improvements and action on the room, it could be a great place to stay.
The hostel offers spacious lockers, clean sheets, and convenient ensuite bathrooms, with additional shared ones. Personal reading lights and privacy curtains add extra comfort, and the common area is a nice place to relax. I appreciated that they honored my request for a bottom bunk in advance.

beds didnt have curtains despite their being curtains on the pictures. I specifically dont book hostels without curtains as i like my own privacy so this was very disappointing. Need a bike to get around, far from most popular things.

The food wasn’t that nice, very minimal small portions and also basic food. Not tasty
Clean, and modern. The rooms were very nice, and fresh. Staff very friendly & helpful. They helped us order a shuttle and got us a good price.

There was few water shortage problem, and also couldn’t understand very well as they weren’t speaking English very well:(
The staff was great, specially one of them which was a staff lady who assisted always for many things! Everything they did, always with care, and smile:)

At the top bunk, kept hitting my head. Also there was a weird smell coming from the bathroom but that’s all down to the pipe system and not really their fault. No one else was really there so it was really quiet. Not a very social hostel.
The beds were so super comfy.

In the included breakfast could only have tea, no coffee. Hard to communicate with one of the staff because she didnt speak english but in the end these were small things. Overall very positive experience in this place.
Comfy bed, clean sheets, calm place, staff were nice. Can recommend, good value for the money.

Very comfortable and clean. Very peaceful. Great for a peacefully stay and very close by walk to the best beach on Koh Samui that is not so much turistic.

Can’t say there was anything I didn’t like but then I was only here one night.
New very nice owners and the place looked brand new. Extremely clean and location was great, good access to the city. Price wise I couldn’t have asked for better.

Modern hostel near the beach and all activities, great location. The shared room was clean and the bed are comfortable, with sturdy beds and secure lockers. The bathrooms were well-maintained with hot showers. A simple, cozy, and affordable option for exploring Koh Samui!

The warm welcome. It’s very clean, new and safe. Was nice to meet other people who are traveling and exploring the island.
The rooms are newly renovated and the atmosphere is brilliant and great value for money. Good beer and amazing restaurant.

It's recently changed ownership, so the bar and restaurant weren't open. But this in understandable and didn't affect my stay.
Great hostel. Modern finish. Convenient location to explore the main attractions of Samui and close to the pier to reach Koh Phanang.
