The room (Queen Deluxe) was a bit small for two adults. We thought it would be bigger for the price payed.

Rooms dirty, also no daylight in the rooms. 3 showers of the 6 in total didn’t work. also a lot of small stuff was broken like locks from toilets and showers. Toilet paper was constantly running out. Staff doesn’t even look at you.

Amazing location! We loved staying at Indie hostel! The staff were very helpful, and even cleaned our room as if we were staying in a hotel! They held our bags in the early morning when we arrived way earlier than our checkin, and also held our bags at the end after our check out while we explored a bit more before our ferry. It was such a lovely stay and we would highly recommend it to any one backpacking.

Very friendly staff! It was clean and the beds are sooo comfortable! I really liked how you still had privacy in the dorm. The lockers outside of the room are perfect to store your belongings! Location was good! Can be a bit noisy because of the bars around but the staff will tell you, they’re honest and so kind. I personally didn’t think the noise was any problem :) The rooftop is a really nice place to hangout. If I would go back to Koh Tao, I book this place again!

Had a private room and it was very nice and clean! I asked to stay for one night longer, the receptionist said it’s not possible because my room was already booked, but like 10 minutes later she came to my room and said the made it possible, I can stay one more night, that was awesome! Thanks :) Can be a bit loud at night because of the bar on the other side of the street, but it’s very central and you can easily walk to restaurants, bars, the beach etc. So it’s worth it.

Beds were filthy, sheets were stained and clearly not changed, towels were old, and we were only provided a small blanket. A security deposit of 1,000 thb was required which was unreasonable for how awful the accommodation was. Staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful. All of our questions were dismissed and the receptionist hours were not accurate. We had to wait for an hour because the staff was not available when hours were marked. The laundry service provided stained all of our whites blue and when we inquired about this we were left with no response. They also told us that our laundry would be ready three different times. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with hostels. It was also one of the more expensive places we stayed on our trip and all of our cheaper accommodations were wonderful. Surprised the ratings are not worse on here.

Made us sign a contract when we checked in, this contract stated if we wanted to leave early and gave them 24 hours notice we would receive a full refund. This didn't apply. The staff were very rude when leaving and pretended they didn't understand even though they were speaking perfect English before. We didn't like it that much that we had to leave a day early. The room was tiny and should not be advertised for 2 people. It was also again another wet room so as showering the toilet paper and toilet would get soaked.

The pillows were okay. The bed was comfortable and the room included all we needed. The location was also perfect being on Sairee beach.

While the hotel is well-located, several aspects were disappointing: 1. The room was extremely cramped and uncomfortable. 2. The bathroom was very small, making it inconvenient to use. 3. There was a lot of noise from outside due to the vibrant nightlife in the area. 4. The staff was quite noisy during cleaning hours, which was disturbing. 5. There was no flexibility with check-in times, which added to the inconvenience.

The location of the hotel is excellent, making it convenient for exploring the area and accessing key attractions.

We saw a lot of rats around the hostel, the bathrooms were not properly clean and the sheets were stained. The electricity went out on the island for 2 days and there were no backup generators. The lack of hygiene led to the spread of norovirus like wildfire, within 2 days the 12 of us were in bed with gastroenteritis (and no electricity or water). The hostel employees were also not very helpful.

We stayed here for 4 nights, and it was a disaster. The air conditioning was leaking nonstop, turning our room into a soggy mess. When we told reception, they looked at us like we were the problem and did nothing to fix it. By the third night, we thought it was getting better, so we left some things underneath (the room is tiny, there’s no space!). But we woke up to a soaked room, with all our belongings drenched. No apology, no room change, no compensation—just indifference from the staff. Four miserable days. Never staying here again.

We stayed in a private room and was really clean, they are small but enough for a couple of night, not a problem. The mattress was very comfortable, what is a great thing here in Asia. The location is good if you want to be near to the party and many restaurants, and of course, Sairee beach. If what you want is chill and relax in a quiet place or you have light sleep this is not your place.

One of the worst hostels I've seen so far. Rats on the rooftop, dirty showers, no lights in the dorms and rude arrogant staff. The weird girl (or ladyboy idk) at the reception damaged my passport when I checked in and I got no receipt for my paying. I heard from other guests that they had problems to get the deposit back. You can even read this in the reviews. AVOID THIS HOSTEL!!!!!!
