AustraliaMost of the staff were exceptional, the main lady running the place seems to have so much on her plate that she sometimes forgot her manners. I think they need some more staff as they were literally running around the place!!
Our stay here was lovely, we actually ended up extending our stay for a few extra days!! The pool was nice and never cold, we loved their food and their kitchen was open all day.

GermanyThe hotel was nice and had a bit of a lodge feel, which I liked. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. The food was good and fresh, not amazing, but definitely tasty. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was ok, being close to the lake was nice, but there wasn’t much else around. Overall, a good hotel with friendly service, a clean atmosphere, and a bit of a lodge vibe.

Clean large rooms with breakfast. The rooms are designed for travellers in mind. The bathroom has enough space for packing toiletries. Enough hanging space for wet towels.

United KingdomMy stay was very enjoyable. Lovely room with a balcony overlooking a pond + has a nice pool. The staff were lovely and very attentive. They helped us book onward transport to Surat Thani and also rent a motorbike, it was delivered to the hotel and picked up when we left. The staff also recommended some local attractions to visit with the help of the motorbike. The hotels located only a 10 minute drive from the Lake pier/dam where you will take the boat tours from. The breakfast was more than adequate, consisted of eggs, some Thai food, pancakes, fruit, bread, coffee/tea.

LithuaniaIt is literally in the middle of no where. No civilisation around. The hotel does no pickups or transfer to the bus station. It does, but really expensive. And the bus station is without internet page or clear schedule. So if you are travelling with moped, it’s good, but otherwise, good luck. And the breakfast is not the best. You can eat, but not enjoy 😅
The property was way more beautiful than I expected, in the middle of palm trees with a nice pool, big room with a balcony or terrace. Staff is really friendly and helpful. You can order the lake trip ant the reception.

PolandThe staff messed up our booking reservation and as a result they thought we were not coming, so they didn't prepare any room for us. They gave us some temporary room for the first night, which only had cold water in the shower and a clogged toilet. They don't really speak English. The taxi driver at one point took over an hour to pick us up from the designated spot. They didn't call or let anyone know they have issues finding us. Hotel staff didn't pick up their phone during this time, so we were basically stranded somewhere.
Good food, both at breakfasts and at dinner. Large room, comfortable bed, nice view. The surrounding area is quiet. They have a taxi service that can take you anywhere you like. It's useful since often there are no grab or bolt cars available. Overall, it's a good place to visit Khao sok and the area.

United StatesAlso the food sucks, the pool is filthy and filled with many giant dead bugs. The only saving grace for this property is that it’s close to docks for boat rides. We spent half as much when we booked our own boat however as when we went through the hotel. Recommend doing it yourself.
Don’t stay here, I’ve never written a review for a place but this experience was so ah that I’m going to. The property is incredibly difficult to get to and staff would not answer me on how to get there. All transportation has to go through the hotel. They charge ridiculous rates for going anywhere. Staff weren’t helpful and it often felt they were just hustling us for extra money. The real part that pushed me to write this review was them stranding us in the middle of nowhere. We showed the staff the exact bus station we needed to go (35-40min drive) we instead were dropped off in the middle of nowhere where we couldn’t even book our own cabs. We spent over an hour sitting on the ground, the hotel told us (as we were being dropped off) that a bus would come at some point within a few hours to get us. There was no formal bus station it was just a random 7/11. We tried explaining that we needed to go to a specific bus station, we offered to pay more yet they refused. They forced us out and would not answer our calls or would immediately hang up after not helping. We had to end up paying 2000 baht and literally begging these people not to leave us stranded. We of course ended up missing our bus but was eventually able to get home.

The breakfast, though simple, was delicious and the perfect way to start the day. It was just what we needed to fuel up before heading out to explore the beauty of Khao Sok.
