Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. New ZealandFirstly, Aek is a fantastic host always willing and able to help. The location is excellent as it’s right on the beach, has a convenience store, onsite massage, restaurant, tour info, shop, scooter hire, and pharmacy. This would be a great place to take your kids as it is a great/safe family environment. If you’re looking for a relaxing holiday- this is the place.

GermanyAC could have been a bit more effective - it was working but often only usable on hi-speed. The fridge was old and unfortunately half frozen. If you stay longer like us (2,5 weeks) with a toddler, this can be a problem.
The owners and staff are very helpful and friendly. We had a very nice time there! The food (BBQ) was very delicious and nice as a setup. The beds were very comfortable.

The room was everything we expected, clean and comfortable. It was a pleasant 1 minute walk to the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a well stocked minimart next door and every sunset was delightful. The reception booked us in for a ferry and arranged transport to the pier.

United StatesThere needs to be "door sweeps" on the bottom of the door to help keep mosquitos out. The beds were extremely hard but I have found that to be the preference in Thailand.
You couldn't find a better location. You walk out of your room and you are on the beach within a minute. It was nice having the restaurant that is part of the hotel because it made mealtimes easy.

United KingdomExpensive for what you get. Bunk beds in standard rooms need updating, they were very flimsy! Cannot shower whilst tide is out which we weren’t told on check in but only when we tried to shower and couldn’t.
Right on the beach, which is a fab beach! Restaurant on site had BBQ and fire shows. Rooms were standard but clean and comfy. Has a fridge and water was there on arrival.

United StatesA lot of smokers, the hotel allows people to smoke inside the restaurant, which is terrible. The rooms are glued to each other, so if other people smoke or talk loud, forget it, you will feel it inside your room.

NetherlandsThe only downside to this place is the food really. We didn’t have a single good meal here. We tried local dishes like Pad Thai which were disappointing and even sandwiches at lunch which were very bad. Plenty of good places to eat nearby though. They also really need to invest in some nice sun loungers. The plastic chairs out the front are super uncomfortable. Shower pressure was low but understandable for the location.
The location is fantastic with the beach being right on your doorstep and stunning sunsets every night. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable enough though could have done with an extra pillow. Rooms were of a good quality for the price and honestly we didn’t want to leave.

United KingdomOnly mild complaint was that you could hear the neighbours quite clearly in our room as there was a sort of connecting door but this was only on the final night of our stay so didn’t bother us much.
We loved our stay here! The room was quite basic but comfortable and clean - the cleaning staff were super quick and left water and toilet roll outside on the days we didn’t want cleaning done. So handy as there is also a minimart, pharmacy, massage place and another small shop on site. There is also a restaurant which did a fire show and BBQ on Saturday night. The restaurant did loads of drinks and food as well which we enjoyed. The staff were super helpful, we had laundry done here which was efficient and they also dropped us off at the port when we were leaving. Couldn’t recommend the stay here enough, we stayed for 6 nights and would’ve happily stayed longer the location was great, lots of other places to eat nearby and the beach at the front was very quiet and there were sunbeds available.
