Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomYou can’t swim in the sea or sit on beach in front of hotel as it’s very dirty… Recommend going to Silver Beach instead, 5min taxi ride or 20min walk. The main strip in Lamai is also 5-10 min taxi ride.
Very clean spacious rooms, staff were very friendly and pool area was great. We only had one dinner in hotel which was over priced. We had no problem with the road crossing which was manned by security.

AustraliaThere could be more variety of hot foods provided at the breakfast buffet. There aren’t many restaurants, bars or other venues within walking distance of the resort so you need to venture out via taxi or scooter if you wish to dine out of the resort. Being a family friendly resort does mean that it can be quite loud and chaotic with many young families around during peak periods when at the pool or in the games room if playing pool or table tennis… not ideal for a couple getaway. But all in all it was a really great stay and would recommend to all!
The cleanliness of the room and the included buffet breakfast were great. The pool view room gave a European holiday feel. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The facilities were great (eg. Gym, games room, kids club). . The resort app was very convenient for knowing what activities were happening, ordering room service and additional room items. This resort appeared to be great for families with young children to utilise the kids club and pool area. The Edgewater bar and restaurant by the water was beautiful for the Resorts Saturday BBQ Buffet Dinner. Edgewater have a large menu catering to all dietary needs and have a great happy hour deal.

AustraliaAs local main drain/sewer/River outlet just up the beach, think there should have been a sign advising tourists staying at hotel of risk in swimming directly in front of resort as when looking outside of local beach area (bay with tidal flow) you could see the sea was cleaner.although no unpleasant smells. All staff were pleasant attentive, friendly helpful. Unfortunately it looks like local area is becoming another Bali with rubbish being dumped anywhere.
Relaxed, friendly attentive service. Beautiful location with accommodation as advertised. Good food & facilities available, easy access to activities, currency ex hange etc. Pleased outrigger supporting reefs would like to know what is happening in front of outrigger samui to support environment. 😀

United KingdomThe prices on the resort were same as UK prices. Drinks, food, massages, transfers prices were nowhere near other resort prices around Thailand. We stayed at 5 other resorts during our travels and this one was the only one with high prices similar to the UK. Examples include burger and fries £10, cocktails £8, ice cream cone £2-3, transfer to airport using their shuttle for 6 people £30! So prices really add if you have a large family.
The property was as per the photos. Nice, clean and helpful staff. Good resort for families. Beds were the comfiest we had during our travels around Thailand. Next door to 7/11 for all snacks, laundry next door as are a lot of restaurants to try. Use Grab or Bolt to order taxis for much cheapness. Explore outwith resort for a more authentic and value for money experience.

United Arab EmiratesThe walls in the room are very thin. I could literally hear people's conversations. Everything else is ok.
The location of the hotel is amazing. The swimming pool indeed is across the road, but hard-working security will always stop the traffic for people to cross the road.

IsraelThere are no drinks during dinner, not even water. You can buy drinks, but they are exceptionally overpriced (over 200 baht for a medium-sized bottle of water). We also arrived with a child with Celiac disease and notified them in advance but were disappointed with the service we received around meals. Only on the third day did a staff member tell us that there were additional gluten-free options in the kitchen (aside from the four pieces of gluten-free bread he got the last few days) that no one had mentioned before. At dinner, the child got gluten-free pasta with a large crouton on top. We were assured that the crouton was gluten-free, but after he had eaten it, a staff member rushed in and told us it was regular bread.
The place is beautiful, The pools are great, the kids club was wonderful. The breakfast was very good and the dinner had a rich menu.

AustraliaWe arrived at 1.40pm after a tiring morning of travelling. We were told our rooms not ready even though check in is 2pm...by the time we were finished checking in it was 1.45 and we still weren't shown to our room!!! Extremely dissappointed with that service. Not good enough for a 5 star hotel. Had to wait in lobby exhausted, desperate for a shower and a rest. We were taken to room at exactly 2pm because I got up and asked. The beds were very hard and pillows were extremely soft which made an uncomfortable sleep. No option for firmer pillows. The pull out bed for the kids in the suite is very hard, we needed an extra blanket put under the sheet for an added layer. First night, I ordered quesadillas at dinner, all the family's food was bought out & served which is when they decided to tell me there's no tortillas and I need to order something else. So the family is all eating dinner and I'm sitting there now waiting for mine to be cooked. Day 3..still no tortillas so couldn't order wraps off menu either. Unfortunately the service here is lacking which I did not expect.
Beautiful resort, great for kids, has laser tag, daily activities, beautiful pool area with amazing views. Breakfast was fantastic. Clean rooms, free water replenished daily which was appreciated. Most staff were absolutely lovely. Laundromat right next door and 7/11. The Fruit smoothies at restaurant were great!

JapanThe beach in front of the hotel is not clean, to get to a nice beach you need to walk 10-15 min from the hotel. The hotel’s main pool is located across the road with busy traffic and cars dont always stop to let you pass so it doesn’t feel safe. The breakfast was pretty good but it wasn’t really diverse and I wish there was more options to choose from.
Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, there’s a room to play table tennis, billiards and air hockey, and the gym.
