Check in was over an hour late and the reception waiting area is extremely uncomfortable. The toilet in our room was broken twice where it wouldn't flush but they were there immediately to address it. Water pressure in the inside shower was a trickle that could barely get the soap off of you. The private outside shower didn't work at all. There was a problem with a lot of mosquitoes inside our room from daily maid service leaving the front door open while cleaning; we resolved that with a discussion and they sprayed the place and killed them all. The sheets and pillow cases were stained from previous customers. There is no TV in any of the rooms, but that is stated in their property description so it is no surprise.. This resort with its daily room rate around $215 / night is not really worth it but you will be hard pressed to find anything better without spending even more money on the Island of Koh Muk.

Front Desk Salai & Mr Wee were extremely welcoming and happy to help us with any question or problem. The location of the resort is excellent. The beachfront villas are spacious and comfortable with excellent above beach level views so you don't have to worry about people walking by and looking in, therefore you can leave your curtains open. Very nice deck with two chairs and a table and two comfortable lounge chairs. The pool is very large but needs to be kept cleaner. Too many people come from the beach and jump into the pool with sand on their feet. There are comfortable lounge chairs around the pool with umbrellas but not enough of them. They have a sign "Take your shoes off before entering Pool area" but the deck gets so hot that it can easily burn the bottom of your feet The Restaurant is very clean. I cannot speqk to the lunch and dinner because we ate out every day. The included breakfast with the daily room rate was satisfactory but sparse. We had scrambled eggs, bacon, toast and OJ every day. My wife put together a BLT on a few days. The fruit was watermelon & pineapple . . . no other options. WiFi was adequate with an access point in each room.

The villas are huge and so nicely located right on the beachfront. We had a sea view villa, it was beautiful. The pool area is so well maintained, peaceful and has a wonderful view of the sea and beach. Breakfast was included in our booking and the choice was plentiful. The lady who runs the restaurant made such an effort every morning creating a special dish of a day and a healthy juice, it was a really nice touch. All the staff are lovely and welcoming and the overall condition of the resort is great for an island that's relatively under developed still.

You could have done so much more to make it perfect. Clean the bungalows outside. Make the terraces more clean and cozy. Put lights in the trees. Open the bar, play music. Put beenbags on the beach, serve cocktails and lunch/dinner on the beach. If this was my hotel I would’ve made it so much more beautiful.

Cleaning was a bit light and even the floors weren't swept of sand. Breakfast seemed a little too busy and you had to wait for food to be replenished. Could have done with mosquito nets in the room. The shower could do with an upgrade. It just seemed as if the whole place used to be a lot busier than it is now. There is no spa or outside bar now, for example. We booked a sea view room and we were one row back. Could still see the sea but would have preferred the sea front

The location is excellent and the pool is lovely. The room was large and comfortable. The staff are keen to help and look after you.

Not good value for the price we paid (400 euros for two nights), no vibe in the resort, no decoration at all in the room. The resort clearly needs to be renovated for this price.

The bathroom seems to be a bit dirty and it doesn't seems to be maintained for quite some time, our room was supposed to have outdoor shower, but it didn't exist. And the toilet doesn't flush sometimes with very weak water pressure ( I suspect it's because of being on the island ). The way to the hotel was confusing, there is the local narrow dirty road with no sign. It's actually only less than 10 mins walk from the pier but you wouldn't know if you come first time. The check in was hugely confusing, I understand it is low season and they probably hire some local inexperience young people to help out. The girl who checked us in was very nice and friendly, but she didn't seems to understand what I ask for the room ( I want all beach front, but we ended up only get 1 room and the rest are in second rows despite the whole hotel was almost empty ). BTW, Im local who speak Thai, so pretty sure my communication was quite clear. First night we didn't have duvet for all the bed, I asked the staff and they mentioned that the extra bed only come with bedsheet... I appreciate that the local might have different mindset and way of living but a bedsheet doesn't replace duvet. It was really shock at first, but luckily in the end other staff brought us extra duvet. There were stray dogs everywhere, probably 5-6 of them running around us and sometime end up fighting. It can be very frustrated sitting at swimming pool with 5 stray dogs sit around you waiting for food.

There were a few ants in the room. The breakfast was a bit disappointing.

The bungalow on the beach had a beautiful sunrise view. The staff was very helpful at helping arrange transfers back to the airport directly from the resort.

We were quite disappointed with the rented beach villa. It is big, but "empty", with minimal equipment. The interior is very worn and battered and shows signs of cheap repairs. For the asking price I was expecting a completely different level. The villa has a terrace overlooking the sea, but there is a complete lack of access to the terrace from the sea side, and if you want to go to the beach you have to walk around the whole villa. Absolutely fundamental mistake that completely spoils the impression of the accommodation. Breakfast is poor and the same (almost no) choice is available every day. The quality of the food in the restaurant is poor. Fortunately there are plenty of very good restaurants nearby.

Nice, peaceful place with a beautiful beach with white coral sand. In terms of the sea, beaches, the possibility of relaxation and excursions around the island and its surroundings, I cannot but spare superlatives. Very good wifi throughout the property

Rooms need a bit of upkeep as looking a bit tired and worn.

Staff were very helpful with what to do etc locally, helped us with transfers to and from the resort and with getting us breakfast in the room when I wasn't feeling well a couple of days. Our room was right on the beach and had a lovely view. Great pool.

So much unfulfilled potential. Villa was large and spacious but so sparsely decorated that it amounted to a waste of space. Bar and restaurant open all day but strangely offer no pool-side service. Pool towels hidden away and never offered. Breakfast buffet was constantly out of things, making it feel cheap and ungenerous. This could be the best place to stay on the island by miles but doesn't make the effort.

Wonderful beachside pool and convenient location, an easy walk to village center and next to good dining options on the beach (try the Perfect restaurant). Friendly staff.

Cleaningness was not at all on the plus side. The bathroom was very dirty having pee and hair from the previous tenants, as well as dirty walls. The bowl they had at the entrance with water to wash our feet before we enter our room had moss inside. I asked them to clean the bathroom and change the water in the bowl and they willingly did it. However, they did just what i showed them leaving the walls of the bathroom dirty after having removed the hair from the shower and having cleaned the toilet. They changed the water in the bowl without scrubbing the moss inside. If they put in place a stricter cleaning protocol they will be just fine. Maybe the owners can visit big resorts of other countries to get trained on cleaning protocols. This resort was by far the most expensive in the area. It goes without saying that it needs to be clean.

We had booked the beach front room and it was amazing location and view wise. The breakfast was basic having all what we needed and some more. It was calm and quiet perfect for relaxation.

it was outdated and dirty, no door on the toilet?! just a sad excuse for a curtain. the bed was super uncomfortable and staff were sometimes not nice. the pool was dirty and breakfast was not really edible. i would not recommend staying here.

good views in the beach but walking to / from town was by exposed toilets and backs of houses with trash burning, smells, and lots of bushes.
