United KingdomSadly we checked out before we stayed our first night and the room was swarming with mosquitos. In their defence, they brought a plug in to try and help but sadly we weren’t happy staying there. Fine if you’re ok with this and want a cheap option! But be wary if you’re not keen on bugs as the building is still under construction.

AustraliaWe loved the location of the hostel. It’s just a 10-minute walk from the pier but far from clubs and bars, which makes it much more comfortable. The rooms were very clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. The staff were super attentive and helpful! I definitely recommend it.

United KingdomIt was a far walk from the pier about 15/20 minutes in the heat with backpacks on was hard, the bathroom did flood only a little as the shower draining was slow.
Such a great location about 5/10 min walk to the beach and shops. The lady next door does the best rotis!! Our room was very spacious, modern and clean.

United KingdomPaint all peeling in bathroom, dirt and bugs too. Receptionist was lovely but the cleaner had to clean the other bed in my twin room as my friend had got it sandy and spilt a drink. While changing the bed she put all the dirty sheets on my clean bed and then got angry that I now needed it changing from her mistake as I don’t want to sleep in sand. She tried to just plump the pillows before I explained I needed it completely changed.

United KingdomThe air conditioning was very noisy and the view from the window was of green corrugated iron sheets. It's a 10 minute walk from the pier, as you get close there's a small stream or storm drain, which smells so bad I nearly threw up. To be fair the smell doesn't reach the actual hotel.

I would the receptionist were very kind and eager to help at all times. The room was clean, and specially the bed was very comfy and quite neighbour that you can sleep peacefully.

The girls on reception Fon and Champoo made me feel very welcome, especially Fon who I chatted to more. They were really helpful and as a solo traveller it's great to make a connection with a place and for someone to take an interest in what you might say or where you are going (even if I do go on a bit lol). The Monkey Pad was great too, I was going to stay initially for 2 nights and ended up staying 6! Lagon krap
