Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaVery relaxing, beautiful, natural resort. Very tasteful and also the food was reasonably priced. Excursions from there were also possible. Kid friendly enough but could have a few board games.

AustraliaOur bungalow 11 (with aircon) was second row from the beach and close to the restaurant - perfect. It was a lovely “desert island” 3 days of total relaxation. No fridge in the rooms but we asked for glasses of ice for our drinks in our room. Very friendly staff - a negative during a not so relaxing massage as they kept chatting to each other.

NetherlandsThe massage is a bit overrated and the provided service is medium to low. Didn't meet our expectations.
We stayed at a Beach Front Bungalow, which made our whole stay amazing. Very vlean, comfy and nice designed room. The fact that you can lay down in the balcony and be next to the beach is amazing. Nice breakfast and food in general. Nice staff that tries to meet all of your needs. Very kind and helpfull people. The beach and the sea is one of the best you can find in Thailand. A quiet place, away from all the fuzz of tourists in the main part of the island. If you are looking to relax, book it without a second thought.

IrelandThe rooms were very basic but clean. There was only one bar and the service at night was slow, this was the only option of somewhere to go at night. The last boat back to the island was quite early in the day, around half 5 so there wasn’t really an option to go into the main town in the evening. They charged 300 baht for the boat there and back, which could have been included in the price. Due to weather the 3 nights we were there, the fire show didn’t go ahead, meaning there was no form of evening entertainment, an alternative would have been good.
The location of the property was beautiful, amazing beach with clear water, perfect for swimming and snorkelling. A real escape from the busy town and very peaceful. The staff were very helpful and attentive. There was a lovely place to have a massage on the beach. The restaurant had good quality food with good options. There was brilliant day trip options around phi phi, we really enjoyed the half day trip.

PolandThere were some minor problems with Wi-Fi. But it's more likely because we lived high up and it just couldn't reach our room. Since it worked perfectly in the beach and restaurant area. And the salt water in the shower. But considering that the location is located deep in nature, you don't pay much attention to it.
Stunning coral reef beach. Amazing cuisine at reasonable prices. We spent three days here and it was the best of our entire vacation

South AfricaThe fact that Google Maps can't direct you correctly to, it seems possible to walk, walking is not an option.
Everything, except walking there from the pier is not an option. You have to plan to take a longboat.

GermanyWe had a Bungalow with Beach View. The view was stunning but the room itself was not so Great. No Door to the Bathroom, only a Ventilator and no A/C. You see that the Bungalows are just getting old. And you Kind of need a A/C because there are no Nettes on the Windows that you cant‘t Open them at Night because of mosquitos and insects. We tried various dishes in the Restaurant. The Thai Dishes were o.k. The Western Dishes were not good. The Burger and the fries were horrible. They live a lot from the Location and their staff who is trying to give you a good experience, but the rooms could be just better for the Price.
The private Beach. The Location is really a dream Destination. You calm down there automatically. Most of the staff were really friendly. If it was only for the Location and the staff we would have given a 10/10. The Booked Breakfast with buffet was good. It had plenty options.

United KingdomLocation was amazing for a chilled retreat away from the centre… secluded and peaceful. Obviously be aware beach huts are up a steep walk way and amenities are rural which I have read from other reviews but that didn’t bother me it was a pleasant stay.

United KingdomMake sure you don’t book the rooms with fan , it is extremely hot and they get full of insects and mosquitos. Thanks god receptionist was really nice and got us a room in the building with aircon. Simple room but much nicer than the hubs in the seafront . Overall great hotel. Only problem if you book activities the last boat to hotel is 5:30 so after this you have to walk 1 hour thru the jungle up the hill or pay 1500 bahts boat to take you back to hotel. The hotel boat is 150bahts. They take advantage of people who have to go to this hotels . Beach in hotel nice if you want to do some snorkelling,

United KingdomThe rooms can be a bit noisy because the floors creak etc, which is normal for a wooden room. Also, it is not allowed to have food or drinks in the room, which again is understandable due to the location, but it's a shame as it would have been nice to be able to have a cold coconut while relaxing at the privacy of your balcony. *NOTE FOR VEGANS* The menu although extensive, offers very little vegan options, and the ingredients of each dish are not clearly stated on the menu which can make the selection of food frustrating. Even the taro and coconut milk includes dairy 😭 Always check with staff before ordering.
Amazing location, right next to the beach and jungle. The beachfront bungalow comes with a lovely balcony that has incredible view of the white sand and blue waters. It's quiet and you can enjoy the sounds of nature. The facility offers a wide variety of activities that are well panned and scheduled. All the staff is very polite, helpful and always with a smile. Wide variety of Thai and international food at the restaurant with reasonable prices.

NetherlandsYou always have to take the boat to go to the center and this costs you money per trip. Also, you always arrive to the resort in the water so make sure you're not wearing any long pants or sneakers with socks. We unfortunately saw so many cockroaches in our room. One gigantic one on the wall, 3 middle sized ones in the bathroom and a lot of little ones after that. I think we might had a nest somewhere. This was not nice because we could not leave anything open, also our luggage had to be closed at all times. They come out of nowhere so they scare you as well. The room also didn't have a fridge and lastly, besides relaxing on the beach, the hike and the fire show, there really isn't much to do so be aware of that. We didn't mind because we liked the relaxing part and we booked a day tour to the islands as well on one of the days during our stay.
The staff is absolutely amazing! They literally do everything for you if you just ask and they're all super nice. The fireshow on the beach was a big plus, it was one of the coolest things I saw during the trip. The location is great! It's a nice place to wind down and just relax. The private beach was amazing, great for relaxing and snorkeling. Saw a lot of hermit crabs at night which was fun. The view from the room was really nice. We also did the hike from the hotel to the viewpoints. It was literally through the jungle, a bit tiring (also because of the heat) but worth it in the end. You'll also see some animals sometimes because it's so close to the jungle. We saw a snake outside our house and a monkey during the hike. The food is fine, not top class but just ok.

LithuaniaThe path to go to the resort - you can't rely on google maps as this is wrong/half right. We went during the dark and were lost. More sighns should be added on the trees (you can find two at least in the night)., Especially the one is missing where you can choose from three directions (go to the middle/the most trashy path, see in the picture 😅). By the way, you can save 1.7km going up and down the hill if you will go from city, through view point 1 and 2 (it costs 50 bah). If you have luggage - just take a boat. We were fine as we had only small backpacks. Moreover, we saw all animals: cockroach, mouse and lizard in our room just in 30minutes after check in, I know that this is an island, but still not very cool seeing a mouce. Didn't happen in other islands. Weird thing - no mirror in the bathroom and no refrigirator.
Good breakfast, clean private beach, big room, very nice staff and great cocktails for a good price (150-220 bath)
