Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IrelandThere was no aircon but 2 fans in our rooms.
The staff were amazing and so helpful! There was 8 of us and we were able to have a private tour of islands including Maya Bay, Monkey beach etc(extra charge) but this was great value for money. Staff carried our bags into our hotel rooms and they were really attentive and helpful❤️

GreeceFirst of all the Resort wasn’t enough efficient. Secondly, they changed the price of the trip in Phi phi Lei the last day and we pay 30% extra . Finally, the day of the trip, even if the weather was really bad, they told us that the boat trip will be ok , and finally the sea was so windy that many people were dizzy after the trip. They let the trip happen in order not to loose some money. No compensation at all in anything.

LithuaniaWe booked the hotel for 2 nights, however we checked out after one night as the room was completelly awful. 1) The room was very high up with steep stairs. You need to walk through construction sites with plenty of construction trash. 2) There was no air conditioning. This was apparently stated in the description of the room, but we missed this when booking. However, we do not understand how it is possible to not have air conditioning in such location and temperature. To our knowledge, no rooms have air conditioning there. 3) The matress was insanely soft and all bedding was quite outdated. We could not sleep. The old bedding gives the impression that everything in the bed is dirty. 4) Flooring makes a lot of “old house” sounds. There are a lot of holes in the floor. 5) The bathroom has holes in the walls so bugs and other animals from the jungle can easily enter the bathroom. We also found old skin of some sort of snake on the floor. 6) The sink in the bathroom has barely any water running. All in all, we cannot express it otherwise than the room was awfully depressing and outdated. We paid a lot more than other 3 star hotels in Phi Phi cost, thus we were extremelly dissapointed.
The staff was very welcoming and food was great. Also, the breakfast was one of the best ones we had in Phi Phi. The view was nice.

SwitzerlandObviously, don’t forget to take your weapons against mosquitoes and plastic shoes for the low tide. The only complaint is that they don’t have actual coffee :-(
The location is amazing, the beach and the bungalows are perfect to relax and enjoy the nature. The corals and Fishes in front of the hotel are just so beautiful. I was super scared about the food because you have no choice but to eat here…but honestly is went great. It’s excellent !

IndiaNo Air-conditioning. Makes it almost unlivable in hot summer conditions. The management staff is also very unprofessional and erratic. We were given a certain Price by the manager for a longer stay and a few hours later they change the rates!
Exceptionally great location in a beautiful Island.

United Kingdom-I should of read more reviews before booking as we unfortunately ended up moving hotels after 1 night. the property is so far away from everything & you can only catch a tail boat into the town with the latest returning at 5pm so you had no options of going for dinner/seeing the fire shows/or any night activity so you really don’t get to see much of phi phi. -the huts are extremely warm and it was very difficult to sleep with just the fan. they are also not spacious and there were a lot of flies/mosquitoes constantly. -there isn’t much to do at the resort at night, whilst the restaurant is lovely, once you’ve had food then the only option is to sit on the beach (whilst might be lovely for others, after a few hours it got quite boring as there is nothing going on). -We also booked a tour of Phi phi through the resort but the morning we were due to go they told us that we had to pay 5800BH when originally it was only going to be 3000BH so we had to end up cancelling & managed to get it so much cheaper at Ton Sai Pier (only 2000BH for a private long tail boat for 6 hours for 2 people)
-beautiful beach with friendly staff and a great restaurant. -very relaxing & peaceful

United KingdomThe manager of the hotel made us feel unwelcome. he was always stressed and rushing. the shuttle is payed by us, I didn’t expect that. The hotel location and huts look amazing, but only from a distance. When you are there the beach is full of rock and you cant really go in without hurting yourself. The bathroom of the room we stayed looked bad and the water was SALTY. We would remain uncomfortable and sticky after the showers and we bought a bottle of water to wash our face and brush our teeth. That might not be something they can fix because of where they are situated, but it’s not what we expected The resort breakfast was short in options and we were hoping for fresher fruits and food. The hotel wasn’t helpful when we asked for private tour options, we had to find one ourselves, which is fine, I am only saying that as a remark for you not to expect them to help in anything not related to them. In any way the hotel was worthy what we payed for, not to mention that it is extremely isolated (which seemed nice to start, but with an unbathable beach and a lack of activities there the place becomes tedious quite quickly). The best moment of our stay was seeing the resort fading in the horizon as we left it.
The internet connection is really good, the sunrise is absolutely beautiful.
