The lack of lifts makes it harder to manage luggage.

Great location, close to the beach, supermarkets, restaurants and convenience store. Friendly and helpful staff and the rooms are extremely comfortable. Private rooms are separate from the shared which helps with the noise and overall organisation.

Didn't particularly find anything negative about this place. But yes one has to be careful with the beds as one could easy hit their heads while fetching something from the bed.

The rooms were maintained well, the hostel was right on the side of the road so easily locatable. There are many food and massage places around so transport is not a concern. would definitely recommend.

Weed dispensaries are very prevalent (as with Aonang in general), including weed products sold at reception downstairs at Pop-In. Not really a party hostel, but might not be everyone’s vibe.

Clean, quiet and comfortable private room with nice view of the mountains out back. Good air con. Had a great time doing a trip out to the bioluminescent plankton night kayak tours in Railay (Freebird Paddle co.) from here.

Some days there is a loud music from the bar downstairs that plays until midnight. Bathroom is very basic and contrasts with the room.

Nice, spacious and clean room with a view on the street. Bottles of water provided everyday. Despite the street and mosque just behind the window it was quiet. Many bars, restaurants and shops nearby. 10 - 15 minutes walk to the beach.

Had a bit of sewage smell sometimes. The fact it only has stairs it's not so handy when your room is on the 3rd floor. Not a very social hostel.

Firstly, the room was very small. The door nearly hit the bunk beds, so that made it very interesting just to get into the room. Second, the beds were pretty hard, and third, wish we weren't on the 4th floor with no elevator. This is obviously something they can't control but just want people to be aware of that!

We booked the twin room bunk bed because we booked very last minute and that was all that was left. Room was good, not great. Staff were very nice, and was very close to tons of food options.

Charging points are loose in the dorm. Nevertheless, the ones at the common are working fine.

The hostel is located near to a mosque, which meant an (unexpected) early morning wake-up call. But it didn't last for long and we easily managed to get back to sleep.

We booked into a very spacious private room and were pleased with the cleanliness of the room and ensuite bathroom. The staff at the front desk were super helpful with booking us tours and transfers on from Krabi. The hostel is within walking distance of Ao Nang beach, with plenty of restaurants and bars along the way.

No hairdryer within the private room, had to use the communal ones instead. Did find trail of tiny bugs around doorway and bin area on last day. No labels on shampoo and shower gel so could not tell which was which.

Had option for a private room within the hostel with a private bathroom but, still had access to communal if needed. Spacious room and good location, 15/20min walk to the beach with lots of shops along the way. Very friendly, pointed us to activities and leaflets when we asked certain excursions. One man in particular was very smiley and welcoming. Our room was ready 2hours early so we were able to check in and continue with the day with no interruptions. Very convenient self service laundry next door to hostel.

Lack of ventilation in hostel stairwells between floors. No windows. If anyone used toilet. You could smell it in the stairs. Would be good to have some powerful suction fans to circulate air or some openings in walls. Warm in community area ... one wall fan does not rotate and the other is high up n small.

There is a very nice spacious hang out space next to reception but there is no ambience there and it is barely used. Unlike the reception, there is no AC in this space which would be a very big plus. Like I read in another comment, the place has unexploited potential. There are even guitars hanging from the wall, I assume for anyone to use. If they would put AC and some nice music the place would be really attractive for people to gather or simply hang out there.

The private double-bed room was super spacious, lots of closet and desk space, very nicely designed and comfy. AC and Wifi worked very well. Water and cleaning services were provided daily. Soap and shampoo are provided. The description said the room included a water boiler which wasn't there but they brought one to my room after I asked for it. I read comments on problems with the call for prayer from the mosque right in front of the window from the room which almost deter me from booking this accomodation, but I honestly barely heard it a few times in my stay and never after 10pm or 7am (and it has waken me up before in other places) and when I did hear it, it wasn't loud, not more than the cars running down the street. The staff were kind and helpful booking tours and transportation. All in all a very pleasant stay during the start of low season.
