Honestly, this place overdelivers. Super clean rooms, comfy beds, and the rooftop pool? Absolute game-changer. Waking up, grabbing a coffee, and jumping in the pool with a view of the island – that alone makes it worth it. The staff were chill but super helpful, always up for a chat or giving local tips. Great location too – a short walk to the beach, dive shops, bars, and food spots. Whether you’re there to relax, dive, or party a bit, this place strikes a perfect balance.

Perfect location, amazing and helpful staff. They remembered everyone staying there and made extra effort to help. Beds are private, spacious, and comfortable, and the social areas are best I've seen in Thailand. +1 for the puppy in reception.

Everything you couldn’t fault it. They organise activity’s. One was a hike up to one of the viewpoints! So good! I had Htoo as the hike guide for the morning and he took us to the main view point and then to a second.

The only thing to try and improve was the overly frequent classic Thai island "stink" that came through the sinks / drains etc. I know there is only so much that can be done on such a small island though!

We had a great stay at Savage Hostel. The property is at the slightly quieter end of Sairee Beach, which suited us perfectly as it's still walking distance to many of the restaurants and bars available. The private rooms are small, but we were aware of this in advance. The staff kindly mentioned this to us when we arrived too. The air con in the room was very strong, and the showers were good too. The bed itself was super comfy as well! There is a pool on the roof which was a great place to hang out. Staff were really friendly too, we went on a nice hike at sunset one evening and they also assisted us with laundry too.

Lovely rooms. Comfy beds. Staff were nice. Events held every night. Mosquitos in the room were a bit of a nuisance so maybe some form of room repellent would have made the stay a 10/10! And I would say the rooms were unbearably hot at times (especially through the night). Apart from that, I loved my stay here and would recommend!!

I am very satisfied with my stay and highly recommend the place. I have only one remark, which I am aware is highly subjective: I felt there was a bit of discrepancy between the service levels offered by the desk personnel but nothing really upsetting. While one of the guys was very professional and welcoming and helpful whenever I needed help or a service, with the other one I felt frustrated whenever I had an interaction.

Really nice hostel and well maintained common areas. Social but respectful of sleeping time. I joined both the sunrise rooftop yoga and the adventure hike they organized and I enjoyed them very much. The location is also great to enjoy the beach, nice restaurants and depart to other areas of the island.

We stayed in a private room and the beds were amazing!! Shame about the size of the room. We loved the rooftop pool and the sunbeds, best hostel we have been to on our travels! Great areas to chill out in and great cafe on the bottom floor

Good facilities and very clean. Perfect location. They have café at the hostel. For me it was not a social hostel, but that was fine. They host hiking trips which I think is really nice of them. I was to suppose to tell this directly to the staff when I checked out, but I forgot. My curtain didn’t work and also it was very hot in the room one night, so I couldn’t sleep. Didn’t know how to change the AC. But this is things that can be fixed easily, so not a big problem.

Dorms and facilities were very clean and comfortable. Strong AC in the rooms. Communal areas were spacious and chilled. Great for those looking for a more chilled social vibe rather than party hostel. The hostel staff were super friendly and helpful. Would stay again!

The showers are a little small and the rooms themselves are quite small (we stayed in a 6 person room)

Good spaces to hang out and meet people. The beds are like having your own little room to put your belongings and the bathrooms are nice and cleaned regularly. It is also in a great location, walking distance to all the clubs and bars but far enough you won't hear the music at night. The staff are also super friendly and helped us book taxis and directed us where to book our activities (e.g: scuba diving).
