A tad far from the beach and other entertainment! We didn’t have transportation but meanwhile taxis were available and at good cost!

The manager went above and beyond to help us out! When our taxi didn’t arrive, he drove to the capital! A big thank you from your Canadian Girls! The pool was the highlight of our short stay!

The bathroom smelled really bad our first day. Thought it was just old but the smell disappeared after a clean.

Beautiful view. A stunning pool. Pepe is a wonderfully welcoming and happy host. His staff are also very friendly and helpful. Easy to hire a scooter for 250 baht.

Sea Breeze Koh Mak is a nice place with a friendly and welcoming manager. He is very accommodating and genuinely tries to make guests feel at home. The location matches the overall vibe of the island – relaxed and laid-back. The rooms are quite small, so it’s best to manage expectations. The bathroom and shower are very basic, but everything works as it should. The pool is well-maintained, and the breakfast is decent. Overall, it offers good value for money, especially if you’re looking for a simple but comfortable stay on Koh Mak.

Breakfast could have more options to choose from. You have 5 sets every morning and no restaraunt to eat during rest of the day. Since accomodation is surrounded by forest, there is a lot of geckos (smaller and bigger) that slip into the room. I’m okay with that, but my wife didn’t appreciated their company in the room. :D

You will probably need some form of transport to maximize your stay if you want to explore and check out the many island restaurants. Bicycles and scooters available.

Nice breakfast options available to start your day. Peace and quiet, splendid views of the bay through the oversize picture windows. Great, friendly staff. Managed by likeable and helpful Pepe.

The overall resort could use some extra maintenance.

We stayed a large room with an amazing view of the sea. Pool area was nice and breakfast area too. Close to everything. Motorbike rental was easy and went through the hotel. It was there upon arrival.

A bit dark in the night, though they give some flash lights on the reception. You can’t swim in the beach.. but the beach is really nice

Lack of lighting on the pathways to the rooms down steep stairs.Poor shower pressure and a limited choice for breakfast and it was worse if you don’t eat eggs. For 3 days my only choice was muesli and fruit but unfortunately they didn’t have any muesli so it was only fruit available.Although we left the key at reception every day to have our room serviced it was only done twice in a 7 day stay.

A great pool and a spacious room.This was our fourth stay here although it’s now under new management.We liked the reusable water bottles and the availability of drinking water.

Nothing. The WiFi is available at the restaurant and pool which makes it nice to unplug. I did wish there were screens on the windows of the rooms. It would be nice to have them open without letting in the mosquitoes. Download the Line app for communication in Thailand. There is only 1-2 ferries a day to the island. You may need to spend the first night on the mainland to catch the ferry the next day (Trat or Laem Ngop).

Everything! Quiet, private, but can be social, the view, the staff and the property. This place was great for an escape and the staff go above and beyond.

We were not able to tune the airco at a convenient level (too cold and toomuch wind, even at 28 degrees)

The swimmingpool was just perfect. Nice (warm) water and amazing views.. the bungalows were very good with a nice view and all basics (safe, frigerator, airco). Nice staff and good service. The resort was a walking distance from the main road with restaurants. Only one we found with a good selection of vegetarian food (food art hut) about 20 minutes walk.

The location is not the best, requires a bike to get around from here. Wifi didn’t work in the room at all! There was no room service, (so no cleaning or taking out the trash and no one bringing water) and we stayed for 5 nights. You had to fill the water bottles yourself at the reception. One night the water tank at the reception was empty so there was no drinking water available. Our room was located really far from the reception and the path down there wasn’t in very good condition. There were hardly any lights and the plants and trees were growing in the pathway. The room wasn’t very private because there was two rooms in the same building with a shared ”balcony” / terrace. So there was no actual balcony for this room type. For the price it wasn’t the best choice.

The view from the pool is very beautiful. We also had a nice ocean view from our room. The room was modern and nice and the bed was really comfortable to sleep in.

Nothing not to like. You need a motorbike here as it is out from the restaurants, but I’d want one anyway no matter where I stayed to visit all the sights.

Really enjoyed our 5-day stay here and could have remained indefinitely. The pool and view is excellent, view from the rooms, very spacious, good air conditioning, warm water, able to rent a motorbike directly at the resort, and good breakfast with choices. The owner, Pepe, was present and enjoyed chatting with him. Rented a kayak down the road (at his partner’s resort) and had a great trip out to Koh Rayang.

Beautiful views. Really relaxing. Deluxe room has all you can require. Great pool with view. Yes you need a motorbike (or pay for taxi). But all distances are small. No traffic. And advantage is the quiet location. However many other resorts of similar quality are even lot further away!

Could do with some cleaning up around the edges (eg pool looks amazing from the deckchairs but the grounds are a bit messy when you look over the edge while swimming). Room descriptions on Booking.com aren't quite accurate (don't expect a proper balcony with some rooms). Location near the pier is convenient but not the most beautiful part of the island. Would be hard to access without transport (such as a motorbike) but songthaew taxis are available to order for B50/person (min B100)
