Enjoyed our stay here, staff were friendly and our room was big and comfortable. Also got knee of free water every day which is just a small thing but makes a huge difference in the heat of Chiang Rai! The gym in the hotel is small, but it’s enough to get a quick workout in. Breakfast was hit and miss, really depends on what you choose. Can recommend the breakfast burger and the eggs Benedict.

Included breakfast is by ordering in advance when check-in. The wait to get what previously ordered is too long. I think it would be better for them to just have a buffet. The items to select from for breakfast are usually what a breakfast buffet includes so It would be better for guest with an itinerary/tight schedule.

The hotel is not a newest one, but well maintained and all equipment was working fine. Beds were comfortable and huge bathroom surprised us. Especially the shower. Staff is friendly, and supportive. Parking for the car in front of the hotel was a plus. The location near the centre (1-2 mins walk) is priceless.

Fitness center is very small and not really very useful.

Very nice property right in the middle of town. Excellent helpful staff, beautiful interior courtyard that is an oasis in middle of city. Great revive in restaurant and very good food.

The breakfast was good but a bit limited in options, and most of the things on the heated platters were cold anyway. There’s no privacy in the toilet, as it’s a glass sliding door. No possibility to open the window in our room.

We would have liked more storage space in the room. There were no drawers or wardrobe, just a rail with a few coat hangers. It was a little frustrating! We were fine with the bathroom setup but in our room there was no door to the bathroom area. There was a frosted glass sliding door for the toilet and another for the shower. Slightly less privacy than some people might expect.

Very well presented. Beautiful communal spaces. Garden area. Water features. Room was very smart with spacious shower. Comfy bed. Would definitely recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sooknirund Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was almost next door to the clock tower and within walking distance to the night markets. Definitely recommend.

It would have been perfect, i just personally would have preferred a bin with a lid in the toilet (no paper allowed to be flushed in Thailand)

Great central location, spotlessly clean, big comfortable beds with nice quality bedlinen. Good variety of breakfast options. Loved all the indoor & outdoor seating area’s, (library, map room, garden swing beds.) Hotel access very secure. Guest bicycles & electric mopeds (download app) available in car park gave us much more flexibility to explore.

A lovely and clean boutique hotel. Lovely common areas with lush gardens for relaxing. Very professional and friendly staff. Great breakfast. Lots of choice. Large rooms with super crisp and clean linens. Comfortable beds and pillows. Central to clock tower area and only about 5-10 minute walk to Night Bazar, restaurants and shopping. Very safe and quiet. Excellent value for money.

Location is excellent. Very close to Chiang Rai Clock Tower and Just five minutes walk to Chiang Rai Night Bazaar. The hotel is full of artistic atmosphere. Though the gym is very small, the machines and equipment are well maintained.

Well, room 317 is just in the bottom, and you can hear music from some bars till night. Wifi not wap or wap2, and bathroom, even when is BIG, is out of date. Those situations won't be a pproblem to come back. Sure I will ask for a silent room.

People are the best. Reservarion, comunication, check in & out, great. Excellent situation, great buffet breakfast, clean. Just in downtown, near all, restaurants, temples, bus station, clock. Nice garden, very good restaurant. Really good.
