Great stay, very spacious, bright and clean room, with an amazing view. We stayed for one night, we booked it before our overnight trip to the lake bungalows, and for this purpose, it was perfect, as it's very close to the pier. If you want to spend more days there and know the town better, it's best to have a car or scooter rented, as it's quite far away from the town, restaurants and grocery stores. Overall a nice, quiet hotel, with a great pool, and friendly staff.

The wifi was a bit spotty in the room. Would have preferred a sheet on the bed instead of a blanket.

The breakfast was good and the location was better than we thought it would be as we booked to be close to the lake. The view was nice too. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I didnt like the location, it is far from the khao sok national park so its hard to do any tours if you dont rent a bike

The blankets instead of bedding are not the best option in my opinion. In such a worm weather I felt more comfortable sleeping under my own sleeping bag.

The staff was extremely helpful! When our plans got ruined they helped us rebook the stay for the night earlier. Even though we had trouble understanding each other, they didn’t stop helping us until getting to the bottom of the problem :) The room was pleasant and clean, the pool was a nice relax option after a hot day. The restaurant at the hotel is not to fancy but pleasant, and perfect for our needs :)

Like others found, beds very hard. Drains/toilet in rooms smelt bad. Shower OK but variable pressure and temperature. No bedside lights, no lift to get cases up 2 flights of stairs. Breakfast provided was cheap, no choice in what you had but adequate. Also bit out of town, so if you wanted to venture to find other places to eat, it was a walk along a busy road. Compared with other hotels we stayed in, for the price, it was rellatively more expensive for what was provided. All a pity, as it could have been so good.

Great view from upper floor rooms which were spacious. Very friendly family staff. Bought day trip to Khao Sok lake in hotel, much cheaper than lots advertised. 30 min drive from lake. Pool was lovely, but no sun on it in afternoon. Restaurant next to hotel (I think owned by them) was quirky and reasonably priced.

Ouh...these Thailand's matresses - it is impossible to sleep on them for europeans :( We sleep on our sides mostly and not used to sleep only on backs, it was terrible night only because of this (also pillows were hard), so all our bones hurted in the morning. I guess there should make additional/ seperate rooms at Booking with soft mattresses in Thailand because it is impossible to order or guessing before you choose next hotel...and can't predict - "do I sleep normally again or not?". We didn't try restaurant because man couldn't answer any word in English, even couldn't catch nonverbal signs. It is annoying, even more when the only food we wanted (smt that is not Thai anymore) wasn't available on that day - fish. Most of the furniture outside need changes and repairs. Small amount of chairs near pool. There is no curtains in shower, nothing to pull water together after showering, so you need to walk on wet floor all the time after.

We spent a night here before heading out on a Khao Sok Lake trip. Accommodations were comfortable and the staff was great. Hotel was within easy walking distance to town and some good local restaurants.

This hotel was clean and provided the basics but overall seemed somewhat run down. It was a bit of walk into town to go to shops and restaurants which wasn't a problem for us but I can see others being bothered by it. Probably not hard to get a taxi but we never tried.

The views and morning sounds were lovely. The pool looked like a nice place to hang out though we never used it. The rooms were comfortable enough, with good air conditioning.

A few kms from the centre of town and no food at all at hotel. Lack of taxis or any other transport left us stranded!

We went in august which must be out of season in Thailand because it was very quiet. Only 3 or 4 other guests. The reception was empty during our stay which was inconvenient for we had a lot of questions regarding activities in the neighbourhood. There was a telephone number, but then again inconvenient for tourists. I have to mention they were very friendly once you could get a hold on them. Don't stop here unless you have your own means of transportation. The hotel lies in the back by a very busy road and there are not much restaurants or means to rent cars or scooters. Might be because it's not the high season but the rooms were not that clean.
