Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IrelandThe only thing we didn’t like was the room seemed to constantly get mosquitos in it. When we first arrived we had to get rid of 15 mosquitos which was insane. It seemed to be any time the door was opened because the room wasn’t enclosed inside they seem to fly in so that was the only annoying thing we found really.
The breakfast was decent with lots of options, the pool was nice and the rooms were spacious and clean. We also liked that there was a nice big balcony with a pool view.

KazakhstanThe WiFi is terrible, we stayed 7 nights and if didn’t have a Thai SIM card that would be a big problem, seems their server is quiet weak, the connection is unstable. Air condition was doing its job but sooo loud, had to get used to it first couple of nights. Room cleaning service to be improved.. also wish that pool was cleaned up daily
The property is clean and in a remote area from all the Kata hustle, but still in a walking distance. They are providing shuttle service to Kata and Karon beaches, not to Kata noi tho. It’s in a certain hours and the latest is at 17:00. The staff is very friendly and trying to be helpful. Breakfast is ok. Rooms are big, big comfortable bed.

South AfricaThey didn't change our bedsheets in our whole six days stay and there was a stain that we found on the duvet cover and it remained there until our last day
Everything was good, from the staff to the service and the facility itself was up to standard and very comfortable, I loved the access to the pool from the room, the food was so delicious and well priced, the location was good and the free shuttle to the beach was very convenient and comfortable

United KingdomThe only slight issue (and this is slight!) is that we didn’t realise you could have bacon and pancakes made to order on the breakfast! There’s no signs anywhere and the staff didn’t let us know. We realised on the last day when we saw someone else order. That being said overall the breakfast selection was really good with a mix of European and Thai food.
Lovely pool area, very quiet and relaxing hotel but still close by to the beach (about a 10 min walk) and several bars and restaurants directly outside. They also had a shuttle to the beach every couple of hours although we didn’t use it. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was good. We had lunch one day in the hotel restaurant which we enjoyed and was great value for money. Would definitely stay again.

The room was very modern and stylish. I was disappointed that the room was not onto the pool area but facing a garden. Unfortunately there were no pool rooms available when I checked in The menu for room service was great and reasonable priced Breakfast was ok but not exceptional Staff was very helpful and friendly Thanks , Lucia Cronje, AUCKLAND

SpainOnly minor things, like there was one day when cleaners didn't come at all, and the shower room they offer in case you have a late flight and have to check out early. It was a room without an air-con, very hot, and water didn't go down the shower drain almost at all, so ended up flooding the room, so we had to be very careful on the tile floor, I almost fell. So just something to consider in case it isn't fixed.
The room was really spacious, bed was big and comfortable! Pool access was amazing, as not many rooms are sharing it and it was almost always empty. Cleaning of the room was good, even though it was sometimes at lunch time and we just asked for the water change (they give 2x bottles of water for free per day). Breakfast was not amazing, but good enough - omelettes were the best, and you could get a waffle, toast, soup, fruit and veg, as well as some other more filling foods like noodles and rice. It's enough to start off the day :) Walk to the beach for us was around 15-20 mins, but there is a transfer to Kata and Karon beaches at 9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm and 5pm, which takes minutes. 7-eleven, mini big C are near, some nice bubble tea shops, massage salons, and restaurants too. Fruit shop almost opposite. The street wasn't as busy which was nice. Hotel staff was very helpful, always smiling. For sure would recommend this hotel, and would happily come back.

GermanyI’d not recommend the breakfast so as the I house restaurant. It’s not even close to delicious and it is pricey. Breakfast has a very poor selection. Especially if you’re a vegetarian. My recommendation you should take the bus to Patong and go to the Junglecython mall and buy anything you need there for breakfast.
It is very secluded and there’s basically no noise. You can relax and go swimming at any time if you have booked with pool access.

AustraliaWe stayed in the Palmery Pool Access Suite. They have an alfresco area undercover so we could still sit outside and not be in the direct sunlight. There are 5 suites on each side of the pool. Pool was bigger than expected. Aircon worked really well, rooms are spacious. Beds are firm. Bathrooms are also big and we didn’t have any issues of smelly drains etc. Breakfast - a mixture of Thai style dishes and western options. Bacon, egg station, sausages, baked beans, toast, croissants, pastries, cereals, fresh fruit, waffles, salad, yoghurt, fruit salad + about 8 Thai options per day (pad Thai, curries, rice, stir fries) The gym has quite basic equipment but all in working condition. Approx a 10 minute walk to heart of Kata (money exchange, walking night markets for food, beach) but plenty of other dinner options closer to hotel. Our favourite was ‘Red Chair Restaurant’. There’s a mini mart across the road and a 7-11 about 4 minutes away (opposite direction to town). Massage businesses directly opposite hotel. We preferred Tanya’s - good massages, clean and friendly staff Washing is 50baht/kg (cheapest we have seen) just around the corner about 1 min away. Free shuttle bus to Kata beach or Karon beach at 9am,11am,1pm,3pm,5pm each day Staff have all been really helpful and friendly. Some have better English than others but haven’t had any problems with communication. We attended the Thai Cooking School Phuket (Kata Thai Cooking Class) - HIGHLY recommend. Jim and Sally run a very good business. It’s only approx 1km away (they’ll pick you up for free from hotel)

IndiaThe rooms are a bit outdated in terms of fittings and furnishing. The lighting in the rooms can be better, the cats on the property were a bit bothersome as they purr and meow in hope of treats when you just want to enjoy a drink/tea/coffee in peace on the nice sit-out area behind the room.
Pool access from the rooms, airy and open reception, kind front staff, fairly decent breakfast for vegetarians, this place will appeal to travellers who wish for privacy as it is quite quiet and the rooms are more like standalone single-room villas.

United KingdomBreakfast needs a bigger selection of fresh fruit, cold meats and cheese on offer too. More staff to clear tables quicker when it’s busy at breakfast. Internet was poor at times. Smell of cat poo at times from the gardens/flower beds near the swim up suites. There are a few stray cats around the grounds of the hotel. It wasn’t all the time but got the smell at times which was not pleasant. Gym is small with limited equipment.
Swim up pool suite was nice with a big room, comfy bed and nice outdoor space.

United KingdomFelt like it needed a little tlc in communal areas. The breakfast options weren't really to our taste. There wasn't any atmosphere at the hotel in the evening.
Big and clean room with a good shower. Nice and relaxing pool area. Shuttle bus was useful to get to and from the beach - although it is within walking distance. Great location with some good options for places to eat within a few minutes walk.

United KingdomOnly minor comment was we requested for a room with a pool view but we got one of the first rooms and our view was blocked as shown in the pictures.
Good sized rooms, great breakfast especially for vegetarians (veggie food is generally hard to come by in Thailand) and a nice balcony. Great location - 10 minutes walking distance to Kata beach. Several massage shops and bike hire places on the road to the beach. We found a really good tourist agent (Nueng Andaman Tour & Travel) on that road with whom we booked all our tour tickets.

United KingdomHad a fault with our safe when checking out, had to have maintenance head to the room to reset and open it. Luckily wasn't in a rush! The gym area was like a greenhouse. The air conditioner wasn't working, so was like working out in a greenhouse, but that being said, the ability to shower and cool off in the pool after was a real treat.
Lovely hotel. On arriving, we were greeted at reception, with a cool towel and a small cup of refreshing tea. The room was great, large windows/balcony doors. Huge bed, very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very enjoyable, from the range of fresh juices, fruit, and cooked items. The main pool was great, very quiet and really felt like a break from the hustle and bustle of Phuket. Location wise, was far enough away from the main strip and busier parts of town. Less than a 10 minute walk to the beach but plenty of little bars and eateries on the way that felt less touristy.
