The overall quality of the premises. It’s a very very good hotel with great staff. You can see all product and brands in drinks and food are top quality. That says a lot about the hotel.

The hotel was fantastic, we had a great stay. Staff all very friendly and couldn't do more for you. Facilities for kids were great and food good too. Only improvement would be to have filtered water filling stations around to prevent having to buy bottled water/using plastic.

Big resort. Waterpark. A lot of activities for kids. Everything you need to relax. We also took the special dinner in front of the beach which was expensive but unique experience and great food

The room was damp this visit, with a musty smell Our breakfast table was totally cleared with hot drinks before we had finished, so had to start again.

Returning visit. As super the 2nd time as the 1st The facilities are super for the children & the food is always quick, hot & good choice. We love the Mario chocolate shakes. The pool staff are attentive & always on the ball with the children. The ground staff are always friendly. Added bonus of finding the laundry this time.

Super stay. Really had the touch of luxury from the staff to the rooms and facilities. It was so modern and clean. The kids pool was super, always sunbeds available when we were there (early April). Well lifeguarded for the kids safety. Breakfast was super. Close to many many restaurants. Would love to go back. Only improvement would be somewhere to have an evening drink overlooking the beach (that’s not the restaurant).

Nothing. It was perfect.

This was a perfect stay for our young family of 4. The check in process was smooth and easy, bags carted to our rooms and the app on the phone gives you all the details about the property including room service. We loved the buffet breakfasts, the waterslides, the aqua zone, the beach and all the restaurants. I loved that the in house room service dishes and prices are similar to dining out in one of the resort’s many restaurants. Pool towels were constantly replaced without needing to call for more and there’s complimentary water that is constantly replenished by calling for more water. The resort has a laundry room operated by coins which made it easy to wash and there’s a mini mart on site with access to beer, water, snacks etc. We had a pool access family room which had two TVs, a separate sleeping area for the kids and direct access to the pool which was so handy. The staff were super friendly and everything was easy and relaxed. The walk to the main road is easy and there are plenty of restaurants and bars if you need a change of scenery. I preferred the beach massage to the spa massage (and it was a lot cheaper too). Kids club is okay but the kids would much prefer the waterslides. Great great family resort!

The room wasn`t well cleaned when we arrived, there where used cocktail glasses on the terrace, somebody`s jacket.

Mattress was well and truly worn in and had low spots that were not exactly comfortable. Friends' room was the same. Faint damp smell from air-conditioning. Fairly standard in tropical resorts but expected better from a resort of this quality.

We had a great stay and really enjoyed our time at the hotel. Everything was well organized, and the kids loved the pool and the children’s program – definitely a highlight for us as a family. The facilities were clean, and the staff was always friendly and helpful. We also loved the Roti Truck – such a great idea and super tasty! It added a nice variety to the food options.

It’s a big resort. You either love it or don’t. For us it was fine - I’m not a big fan per se but we had the kids with us and they loved it. So I’m happy

‏We were there during peak season, so it was a bit too crowded. It’s a shame there are no waiters bringing drinks to the lounge chairs. The room was disappointing. We took a room with pool access. The pool is fantastic, but the room itself is oddly designed and cramped. The sofa bed where the kids slept was very uncomfortable. There’s no privacy in the bathroom because there isn’t really a separate toilet room, just a partition. It’s really a shame.

The hotel is very suitable for small children. The pools are great, and the pool bar is really fun The breakfast is very nice, and the dinner at buffet is absolutely wonderful. The kids’ club is especially successful..

The coffee for breakfast is absolutely terrible, please buy some better coffee beans. There could be a higher variety of foods and drinks.

Our second time at the Sands. We appreciate the large and bright rooms, the swimming pool and the loungers area next to the beach, being in close proximity to shops and others. The food is ok, both for breakfast and dinner.

It was peak season so during meals (breakfast & lunch) the restaurants were pretty crowded but we managed to find a spot every day.

The hotel is a large resort but still there was plenty of space around to not feel too crowded. The fact that the kids pool area was a separate pool area made a huge (positive) impact. And having a pool area for adults only was great. The beach is only a few steps away and the shops and restaurants a short walk from the hotel. One could also use the hotel's own taxi service to get into town for a small expense. The rooms were large and nicely decorated. The bed was supercomfy.
