Unable to have a proper shower, the water would stop running out of the blue while in the shower making it difficult to rince off once in the middle of shampooing! very low water pressure in shower

The lock on the door was broken, so I was moved to a smaller room than the one I had booked. In the new room, the bed sheet was burned. In both cases, the staff promptly tried to resolve the issue by giving me a new room and changing the bed sheets. The cleaning staff and those preparing breakfast were kind only to people they thought were wealthy.

the breakfast was good with a lot of choices and the place was safe. The reception staff was exceptional specially the guy was working at night.

Internet connection was not working, we weren't able to connect. The Hotel is just near a club, loud music till midnight.

Nice staff, good place and value for money. We had to leave at 5am and the staff prepared us a coffee and breakfast.

There is a dico next to the hotel and in some rooms you can hear noise till late (1.30 am).

At first it looked like old but after visiting, it rather look like those nice little hotel in Turkey or London. It was clean and comfy. Staff was nice and smiling

Convenient option after a late flight into Tunis as it's quite close to the airport. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The AC worked well. Breakfast was satisfactory.

The Hotel Lafayette presented some significant challenges during our stay. The most prominent issue was the subpar internet connectivity, which made it extremely difficult to research travel plans and manage online reservations. This was a major inconvenience that negatively impacted our ability to make the most of our time in Tunis. Additionally, while the staff were undoubtedly friendly, they seemed unwilling to go above and beyond their basic job duties. When we requested a hair dryer, we were disappointed to learn that the hotel only had one, and it was broken. This lack of attention to guest needs was quite frustrating. The hotel also struggled to consistently provide adequate drinking water. The water dispenser was frequently empty, and our room never had any complimentary bottled water. The inconsistent water access at breakfast, where some guests received multiple bottles while others got none, was puzzling and unsatisfactory. Lastly, the language barrier proved challenging when trying to obtain train tickets, as the staff did not offer to make a simple phone call on our behalf to resolve the issue. Overall, the Hotel Lafayette's inability to address these basic guest needs detracted from an otherwise pleasant stay.

The Hotel Lafayette in Tunis provided a spacious and comfortable stay. Our room featured a small couch and chair in addition to the beds, creating a pleasant living area. The room was spotlessly clean, which was a major highlight. The breakfast buffet, while basic, was good enough to start the day. A bit more variety would have been preferred, but overall the morning meal was satisfactory. The Hotel Lafayette offered a pleasant experience during our time in Tunis.

Smoking is allowed inside the hotel so the rooms smell quite stale. The a/c didn’t work so was a very hot night.

I was a little disappointed that the TV in my room did not work.

The receptionists were very pleasant and the location was very convenient, close to a supermarket! A fridge was installed in the room!

The breakfast was very bare with very little options and there wasn’t much of it left at 9am already. The bathroom wasn’t restocked with toilet paper so we had to go and ask for more downstairs. Personally the beds were a bit too hard for me. There was only one glass in the room even though we had a double room. But overall it is good value for money.

The hotel is nice, the staff are helpful and welcoming, the rooms are very big and clean. Overall it’s a nice place on a budget so I do think it’s good value for money, but there are a couple of things I’d improve on.
