“The family at the tea farm were so friendly and welcoming, and we had the best food here in our whole trip to Taiwan. It is only 15 minutes drive from the forest railway and there were lots of hiking trails nearby. The room was basic but fine, with a large shared lounge area. we were there when the weather was cold and there was a heater we could use.”
“Everything was excellent! Andy as host was fantastic, explaining everything, very helpful with everything I needed. Beautiful house and landscapes around. Clean room, white towels and sheets, very soft. If you looking for an escape from crowd and touristic areas this is a place for you. I was traveling alone and felt so safe in the Rainy Pleasure. Breakfast served on the tarace with breathtaking view. I want to come back there for sure! Thank you Andy”
“Wonderful villa surrounded by tea plantations and mountains. Very clean and cozy. Tasty breakfasts and coffee! Hosts are very friendly and welcoming.”
“The accommodation was very clean and spacious. It is located in a beautiful spot with amazing views. The beds were also very comfortable. The host was incredibly helpful in giving us suggestions in places to eat and visit. The home cooked breakfast was lovingly prepared and delicious! The heater came in handy! The TV even had free Netflix for us to watch.”
“If there are not many customers, they organize individual meals for breakfast. That breakfast was fantastic!
The staff is very friendly. The manager can organize a tea ceremony where you can try fantastic local tea.
The room is good!”
“The B&B has their own sunrise viewing platform where you can watch the sun rising above Alishan and tea fields, just by walking out of your room. Nearby is a mountain (大風埕觀日峰, 30-40 minute steep hike) which has a 360-degree view of mountains and tea fields. However, I found the view from the B&B terrace more immersive. The owners went above and beyond to make sure I had a comfortable stay and were so nice. Although my knowledge of the language is near zero and the owners do not speak English, they put in the highest possible effort to communicate everything and help me arrange the details of my stay including transport. The staff even taught me how to use a very convenient translation app (useful for my further travels in Taiwan) and we had an enjoyable chat. The room had a kettle, wifi, was very clean and the Hello Kitty theme was kind of fun. I liked the home-style breakfast.”
