How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

location, location, location! 3 minutes walking distance from Taipei Taiyuan metro station so it’s super easy to access to Taoyuan airport and Taipei station.

Safe Box position is too low for customer to use it, for old age like me is a challenge.

Room whithout windows
Good location near Main station (subway,busses , trains and way to airport) Friendly and helpful front desk. Free water bottle, bath and shower, shower accessories, a lot of engliesh speaking tv channels ,comfortable bed

Maybe one more chair for sitting or bigger table?
Near to the entrance of the underground street. Although might need to walk a bit to reach the MRT but at least that you don't have to expose under weather conditions. Overall is good and comfortable.

Personally doesn't like to climb into a tub for a shower. But my 3yo child loves the tub!
Room is clean and is of adequate size. Not exactly near taipei main station mrt as the exit is at Y21 (no escalator). If escalator needed, to exit Y22 and cross the road. Its much nearer to Beimen mrt which is at Y28.

We liked the location for a weekend getaway to Taipei. We had easy access to the metro and airport lines. The hotel was quiet, clean, and comfortable and the staff were very friendly.

Location was fantastic. our hotel only few steps from Taipei Main station. Our room is small, but it is clean and serve our purpose for 1 night. The value is great for the room. You can't beat the price for the location. We arrive from the airport MRT to taipei Main station. Very convenient....

The door of the bathtub doesn’t hold the water well and bathroom is always flooding after showering.

Unfortunately, the soundproofing was terrible. I was also really unlucky where people staying in neighbouring units kept opening/closing their doors and were even speaking loudly while they were standing outside their rooms. A group of travellers also came back at about 2 am in the morning and spoke loudly. I ended up having very poor sleep throughout the night.
The room is really clean, facilities were new and the TV had a good selection of channels. Amenities were also adequate and location was close to taipei main station which is great because I came straight from the airport.

room was a little too small as we barely had room to walk with our check in sized baggage was opened.
very clean room and the location is just 3 minutes from Taipei main station. walking distance to Ningxia market as well.

Not a negative in itself, although there is a laundry service it would have been good to have on site communal customer washing machines/dryers.
The rooms was ideal for a short stay, clean, modern, comfortable and in good condition. The staff were very helpful and daily housekeeping was good. The location is close to the Airport MRT (6min walk), bus stops, HSR/MRT (15mins walk), Taipei Mall, a 7/11 etc.

The location is not really 'main station', this is quite far from main station. Also, it is rather expensive for a small room with basic hotel standards.
Clean hotel with Western standard, (half) automatic check-in.
